@silver I was using them a comparisons both are groups which use a religious banner to spread a message of hate. Isis and fundamentalist Islamic groups are getting a lot of attention due to their use of the Internet and publicity on their actions but they aren't the only groups like that. However the message they preach isn't representative of the overwhelming majority of Muslims and shouldn't be viewed as such. Nor is stupidity bigotry hatred and intolerance confined to any one ethnic group. By all means attack the men who launched this dastardly assault on unarmed journalists but don't use them to spread hate onto others who in no way share the blame for their actions. All you do then is play into their narrative, you spread the hatred they feed off and make it easier for them to recruit followers and radicalise others into helping them. They want you to hate them they need to be hated and they want it to be vocal so they can justify their actions and create fear and mistrust which they use to get more recruits. Every time some twit starts spouting off about its all Muslims it helps them recruit the next angry youngster to carry out the next hideous attack. The IRA UDR and other groups waged a decades long violent campaign against the British government and people but at no point did the British say all Irish people are terrorists not should they ever have. There's nothing wrong with the Qu'ran. It applies to all generations, old or new, and it was revealed from the years 610-632 AD. Read it for yourself before making these remarks please - i'm sure you'll enlighten yourself.
