  1. What's the reason not to ban or force reset the accounts that were involved. It's it rubbish to think that the players involved didn't know they were cheating. Yes, cheating! At least we know, if your going to cheat, make sure lots of people do it so the devs will be less likely to make an example of you.

  2. Did KaW_Admin spell "Raise" wrong lol they spelled it "Raze" just wondering

  3. Raze = to completely destroy a building or town. So raze is in fact the correct word not raise.

  4. I agree with Lormaster and IGCB. These players should have been banned. Either "cheating" or "exploiting" they knew what they were doing was wrong and should report it. I hope the rumors that devs have taken more then enough back are true. The "exploiters" have earned it.

  5. Devs your not harsh enough, u bacically just said anyone who glitched just got thier glichted gold taken away, how is this “just“ they could have made lands with that gold, allies, anything......even if they didnt buy these things with it they should still be banned, the intentionally got a unfair advantage

  6. Man up, put on your steeltoes, and kick them from game

  7. Son-of-Poseidon, you should be fine as long as you didn't get a message from kaw. I reworked a few t4 buildings last week and never heard anything about it until I read this thread.

As far as the cheaters go, reclaim the gold and post the names. The community would sort it out. lol

  8. Wow. Agree with prior posters that clarification is needed surrounding the term 'reclaiming' of this counterfeited gold. I hope you mean that they got those allies taken away from them and/or any benefit received from this counterfeiting has been reclaimed. Can you please clarify this devs? Kuz if they got to retain any benefit from this that is inexcusable. Thanks in advance.

Btw. For those of you who did this...did you actually think you'd get away with this??

  9. I think RedStar took a few trillion gold for his ally bank

  10. Hey everyone,

Just a few clarifications on some questions that have come up.

    1) We have recovered 100% of the gold that was generated from this exploit, and that gold has been removed from the game.

    2) The method we use for the removal of gold is by removing all of a player's buildings, potions, bronze bars, inferno and allies until it has added up to the correct amount

    3) Some players are complaining we took too much. This is not the case. We have logs of every action the players did and how much they gained from this exploit. There have also been suggestions that we should simply roll them back to where they were before the exploit. Unfortunately, that does not sufficiently cover the damages they cause.

    4) If a player created illegal alt accounts to further take advantage of this exploit, all of their accounts have been banned.

We hope that this clarifies the incident so more. Thank you!

  11. Kudos devs thanks for keeping us all informed. Btw. Are those allies now considered 'dropped'? I like to search for those

  12. While I think the exploiters need to be returned to their "pre-glitch state," and perhaps chastised/punished for the exploitation, I don't think the stripping n removal of 2-3 years of a "significant amount of hard work and dedication" is an appropriate remedy. If the devs have daily logs, they know who had what before their update glitch was introduced, n so "reclaiming" the gold ought not reduce someone who may have had trillions in allies before the glitch to zero now. The statement regarding the mathematics used to determine the amount required to be reclaimed is not an explanation of the procedure used. I have no problem with the ban of illegal alt accounts created to further exploit the "hole in the software," yet I think the devs took a hatchet (on long-standing accounts) to resolve this problem when a scapel was needed.

  13. They could just ban them.

It is a business after all and when people can gain an advantage by cheating, exploiting a glitch, etc it devalues nobs significantly. I buy nobs regularly and watch closely at how these types of issues are resolved.

I really do hope there is a published list of the 155 accounts.

  14. I appreciate the additional info from KaW admin. At least we know the worst offenders were banned and that they took into account the totality of the harm caused by these players in removing gold and any advantage received due to receiving the exploit created gold.

  15. Lol ppl are smart. I wouldn't of found that exploit out in a million years. Lol that or I'm just dumb

  16. Name and Shame!!!

  17. 12 pages of splitting hairs lol

  18. So these players that was gaining a huge amount bonus from this exploit was they ee warring too? Adding bfa,bfe for war what a huge bonus hope you stripped the edge and rancor too why should the get new equipment for cheating

  19. I suppose you've just turned a blind eye to a certain few people, devs?

What's new? Accounts have been reset that were big before the exploit was found, yet you take EVERYthing from them?

Reset your puppets and make us all happy.

  20. Full support to regaining funds made through this exploit. But as Dannyboi has highlighted the possibility, we would like to know whether offenders have gained in ee wars through this glitch, and whether they too will be stripped of rancor/mith/equipment.
