Hydra what about fool traitor patsie commie idiot because those names get tossed about too. Reasoned discussion needs no name calling. But if some one is being racist expressing ideas that are abhorrent then calling them on it isn't unreasonable.
The point is you guys are trying to control the narrative on this thread by provoking people through name calling. If not provoking it's public shaming to say the least. I'm saying you guys wouldn't do anything in real life in a 1 on 1 conversation or use these insults.
What would we do? My town has taken in 25,000 migrants in five years. We are swamped. The hospital is under huge pressure ( from the government) The schools are full. And almost every migrant ( economic migrant which is an issue I care about as opposed to refugees from war zones ) has a job. Excellent manners. Rents or is buying a private house. Only a few have social housing. Their children are just that. Normal children growing up with a future. Yes the pressure is huge to a small rural town and takes much getting used to. But they don't leach off benefits and bring a lot of value working on the local farms and in the hospital. Many are highly skilled. Others are willing to take the jobs the local teens have refused to take for years. It isn't hurting our town as yes I thought it may. But it's not ideal. And even they know it. Speaking with them, they want the same as us. To be able to live freely knowing they have a future.
^mistook the context. And that is a liberal tactic on the internet. So don't say they wouldn't say these thing unless anonymous. We all know it's a lie, and it makes EVERYONE look stupid.
I have had similar thoughts about women and children first. I don't know enough about the the political situation in Eastern Europe to respond further. Mainstream info isn't enough in this situation for me to support this side of the argument.
They don't want to be forced to live in a nation that is under constant threat of social and government unrest. They certainly don't want Isis on their doorstep. And most would go home if the problems back home could be resolved. So saying you are a realist to justify a lack of compassion. A realist would understand that global security is needed now more than ever. Saying it all happens an ocean away and nothing to do with you is just burying your head in the sand. According to Isis they are at war. The world needs to wake up and destroy the cause of the issues in a combined effort and demonstrate to all future terror factions that the world is united against them. But as long as their are people willing to bury their heads in the sand and say its their problem not mine. The worse the problem will get. Every refugee denied shelter and fair treatment is a victory for Isis.
Vlad just a quick question. Isis has 100,000 know. Armed fighters. The refugees that we know if. Have limited weapons and no training and no co-ordination. I fully agree they should fight for liberty in their home nation. With training and support from a global coalition force. Want to make the world take notice. Send Russian Chinese British American German and French troops in together. Let them teach the people how to defend themselves from an invading army. And that's what Isis is. A 100,000 strong army. Not just a couple of idiots with guns that have seen to many action movies. How would you fare against those odds whilst trying to protect your family. Would you want your wife and child out of their and do anything to ensure you get them to safety. Or would you try and fight, die and then. Well look up what happens to the women and children. Isis is a disease that needs to be eliminated. And people need to be able to live in a free world
I'll give it a try. Eastern European family male/female. Someone who doesn't need help understand the feeling of discrimination. In Europe or America. It's noted, and well noticed. So the "refugees" from a war that I am not responsible for do not want to come to my area. It is not good a enough place for them to escape "war". I had no say in any conflict in the Middle East, I don't even have proper representation in my on nation. Instead they want to go to other more prosperous nation in the EU. Nations we as Eastern Europeans rely on for work, for our families and our livelihoods. We have people hungry and starving and we see "refugees" throwing food and water out. Rejecting food while our people go hungry. Generic use of the term "Eastern European".
Just wanted to add some interesting info 5-10% of Muslims are extremists, 7% of Germans during ww2 were nazis. The world is screwed if we let them in. Why are Saudi and the UAE not doing their part to take more. At least they are Muslim countries.
If I am Eastern European why would I care if refugees don't want come or stay? I see how there is a loss of job opportunity, but that isn't enough to complain. Unless funds are being allocated and misdirected. That would be a internal discussion though, or an EU discussion?
More people mean less jobs to go around and higher costs to care for people (jobless and healthcare). Rich countries become poorer and poor countries become poorer. Which means the eu has to try bail them out. So euro zone struggles. But hey political correctness is great.... Not.
Okay, let's just say they turned back all the refugees/migrants. Do you think that would provoke more terrorist attacks for those already within? And if so since they aren't in my Eastern European country but rather a country that already discriminated against me, why should I care. I'm going to look to Russia, and China to form a Eurasian Block.
The problem is that some of the refugees that come through will be hidden jihadists. So yes attacks will increase. Islam also talks in their holy books the quaran and hadiths about hijara, which means to fight a jihad through increasing the Muslim population to a point where they get more power and control. Through this they can bring in sharia law and change the country into an Islamic state. Much slower than a bloody war take over but no less effective .
Or if you don't let them in attacks increase, while letting them in is a show of compassion. Some will still harbor hostilities, most will not. Those majority can keep the hostile segments in "check". Not all are Muslim btw. Canada uses atheism to combat extreme religious believes. Isn't Europe doing the same? People like to fit in.
Yep just like the majority is currently keeping the jihadists in check. Lol Sorry I must have forgotten all the Christian and Other religion terrorists bombing countries around the world.
You don't have to apologize sincerely or falsely. I personally feel athiest movements will become the next threat in their crusade against religions. Along with Agnostics, and SoS types. How curious how many terror attacks occurred in Europe this year from extremist. In the states most of our attacks come from school shooters, anti-abortionist. Feminist threats etc etc. The outlying groups. Extreme left and right ideologues.
Not sure of current numbers this year but over 26,000 since 9/11 check any terror attack counters for a more accurate number.
In Europe? 26,000? Maybe in Africa and Indonesia, ME, Southern Asia. My coffee is gone. Peace people.
