what to do with Adrian Peterson? opinion thread

  1. I butchered your post a bit sorry. What I see in the matter is, the people who attempt to defend people like AP or more general people who use corporal punishment have had similar situations done to themselves. Who would want those beatings/"Punishments" to be in vain? It's purely psychological IMO, usually Because a dozen lashings or a slap to the mouth or even spanking for that would "Fix" a child's behavior right? From the eyes of someone who haven't ever received any amounts of Corporal punishment nor have I had kids of my own so eh I guess it's a bit biased. I'm not going to insult someone doing it, but from what I've seen there are much better ways to discipline children other than inflicting pain on them.

  2. Actually it's fairly easy to see the difference between the thugs and gangsters in the NFL and the good people in the NFL. Criminal records, gang affiliation, the way they speak in interviews, the way they carry themselves in general, did they finish school or leave as soon as the draft would have them, etc etc.

  3. Brb gonna hit someones crotch till it bleeds.

  4. Again, you still never know. Some people can put on better appearances. Remember, what it seems like and what it is, are two T-totally different things. than others.

    I'll give you an example.

I'm an african-american born into a middle class family. One day, I was attending a class with a very rich friend of mine. The teacher, was pre-informed that one of us was unruly/rude/inattentive. Guess who was immediately thought to be that guy. So, I stress.

Appearances in America is the key to success. You want to look cool back home when you're a football star? Put on the appearance of a G. They are still making money. Lol.

  5. Yes I think he should be allowed to play again after a decent suspension. I also think he should be beaten the same way as he did his child before he is allowed back tho.

Same as for Ray Rice, hefty suspension and a professional boxer to 1 punch knock him out.

If the punishment for violent offences was someone doing the same thing back to you (**** included). I think alot of people would think twice before offending.

    Thats my 2 cents worth.

  6. I remember when people tried to this to Richard Sherman after his rant last year. Calling him a thug and "gangsta". Then they found out his GPA and got informed where he attended school and his background. They did this from appearance and a rant after a critical game.

His lifestyle didn't fit the title.

  7. He is in the Bears division so ban em for life!

  8.  you better hope Cutler gets banned if you ever want to be a threat.

  9. First off he's not a deadly guy to society. Second off yes he was beating his child but did he really mean to make him bleed? Was he spicificaly aiming for that region? No. He should be allowed to join back because its his profession to play and entertain. People act like its the end of the world when humanity has done way worse._.

  10. If he wasn't the greatest at his position at the time, then this situation would have been handled very different. But AP sells tickets so he'll be back.

  11. I think he should either be in jail or beaten the crap out of.

  12. It's totally obvious he loves his son more than anything.

I mean come on, when you feel the need to inflict bodily harm on your defenseless CHILD to the point they bleed, to prove a point or teach a lesson, thats definitely love. :|

The bastard should get thrown in jail for awhile (genpop) and banned from ever playing football again. Give him a "needed memory" of his own.

  13. Public opinion on criminals needs no opinion.
A sick society places money ahead of morals.

  14. Gen Pop and AP. I don't think he would have a problem. I've heard this several times now. They like to take out the Chester's. Mostly for social reasons in climbing the ladder of the gangs.

If you think this felons in there haven't smacked a kid or woman. You may have the wrong idea of how dangerous those men are. They've murdered women and don't get stuck for it.

It's a nice thought though if you really hate AP. They assholes in there would probably make him their role model. ))))

  15. AP would be like "it ain't gay if I'm on top"

You know they get lonely in there.

Aight KaW fans. I'm a asshole. And I've been a asshole enough today too last until the new year. Happy Thanksgiving, and Merry X-mas seasons greetings.

    Don't drink and drive.

  16. Some People posting on this thread have confirmed how poor the quality of person we have playing kaw these days its enough to make a father of 3 quit n not give ata another penny to help give these noobs a better game...
    Saaaaaaaad

  17. If you quit can I have your stuff

  18. Its ok for moose to take a moral stance on physical violenve (which I support)...yet the same moose thinks its also ok to denigrate those that take a position against gambling in a kids game. Violence can be the result of financial issue...like gambling. Just a thought.

  19. If Big Ben can be Forgiven for ****, Ray Lewis for murder, Michael Vick for killing and torturing dogs, Josh Brent for driving drunk & killing teammate, Lawrence Taylor for drugging prostitutes, Donte Stallworth for man-slaughter, Sebastian Janakowski for tampering and driving drunk, Chris Terry for beating his wife to near death, etc....

Than sure as hell Adrian can be forgiven... They all got 2nd chances and most of them are still playing. Hell, some are in the Hall of Fame and have 12 foot Statues made of them... But you're telling me Adrian doesn't deserve forgiveness or a 2nd chance?

    Adrian Peterson's Charity Foundations:

Adoption, Fostering, Orphans, At-Risk/Disadvantaged Youths, Children, Disaster Relief, Health, Homelessness, Human Rights, Hunger, Philanthropy, Poverty, ****/Sexual Abuse Awareness, Slavery & Human Trafficking, Sports, Veteran/Service Member Support.

He also has done TWELVE Make-A-Wish requests for children in need. Hosted a flag football game for impaired kids.

This man has done so much good for the world overall. Close ones and friends can't stop talking about his heart and dedication about giving back. Mike Zimmer said within a couple weeks of just meeting him he is a "First Class human being who did nothing but listen and bring smiles on our faces."

He is always seen around his children when not playing football. He has admitted his wrongs as a man. He has openly requested to go through parenting courses & counseling to better himself as a father. He knows he isn't a perfect parent. Nobody is...

He doesn't deserve for all of his good deeds to be tarnished for one regretful parenting decision. If god and his son can forgive him than so can I.

Hope to see you on the field soon MVP. As a VIKING.

I got this from someone else but I love it!
