Sam, who wasn't totally sure how she got here, put her hand on the hilt of her sword. Her sword had been blessed by the færies, but Sam stole it.
Irin noticed the sword and said, "Wow, that's a beautiful sword. I've never seen anything quite like it." Irin went behind the counter and grabed a pot of coffee. "Would you like some?" Alex looked up, seeing a new person in the store. 'She stole the sword,' Alex thought. Then he looked down.
Still looking at the floor, he mumbled, "Alex." Irin sat the coffee cup down, then went in the back to get a cherry coke for herself.

Alex smiles a little, warming up to this new strange place. "Hi Sam." Then he hears a low laugh, and looks in the direction. Alex sees a girl, then her secret echoed in his mind. For the first time in months, Alex couldn't seem to get a clear reading of what the secret was, but it sounded like world domination. He turned away quickly, hopeing the girl didn't notice him. Irin comes out if the kitchen fridge with a coke in her hand. Noticing gloomi, she says hello. "Can I get you anything?" she asks.
GlooMi felt the telepathic prod from the strange boy over in the corner. She let an irritated sigh hiss out of her teeth then put her mind shields back up. "It will probably be a relief to him," GlooMi muttered, "but I'm still going to give him a taste of a real psychic power." She glanced at Alex and concentrated, a little crease forming between her brows. Then she released the jolt of pain towards him.
It all came so fast, the wave of pain. It nearly blinded him. He fell of his seat, and soon his coffee cup followed, spilling it's contents on the floor. Alex could barley breath through the intense pain. He curled up into a ball, not sure what was happening, then waited for it to end.
GlooMi watched as Alex fell onto the floor. "weakling, that was only supposed to hurt for a second." she thought. Though she didn't want to admit it, she felt a little sorry for him. She remembered what it was like to be tortured by a complete stranger. "At least I didn't kidnap him," she thought then realized that she had said it aloud. Nobody else seemed to notice, they were all staring at Alex.
The pain subsided, slowly at first, then all at once. Slowly, he sat up. Irin rushed over to help Alex, but he wasn't listening to her. Instead he was stareing at gloomi. He knew. He knew it was her who had done this to her. The keeping told him so. He stood, then ran out if the café, wanting nothing to do with the girl who had tortured him. Irin watched him as he ran. "Strange. I hope he's alright," she said.
GlooMi sighed and ran out of the café after him. She realized that she was turning into her master, the one who she hated most in the world, so she wished to do a very unmasterlike thing and apologize.
"Secrets are dangerous," Alex muttered to himself as he ran. It was a common thing for him to say, being who he was and all. Finally, he couldn't run anymore, so he sat down on a bench. He wondered what he had done to the girl to deserve the punishment. He couldn't help it. He couldn't help being who he was. Irin looked at Gloomi, dumbfounded as she ran out of the Café. "Probably just checking on him," she said as she wiped down the tables.
Finnally she saw him on a bench, sitting there winded from the running. She paused for a second, pondering what she was going to say, then strode across the park to tap him on the shoulder.
Alex was startled by the slight pressure on his shoulder. He glanced back, then saw the girl, the one who had forced the pain upon him. Seeing her, Alex stood, about to run, but something told him that the girl wanted only to talk to him.
