The 'dude' who was CGI'd was Grand Moff Tarkin. He was presumably on the first death star during it's destruction.
I also support the "young Han Solo" movie/movies idea. I read a few of those books - a trilogy maybe? And there's exciting stuff. Nerds
It will be interesting to see if they go back and do other fill in movies between the saga movies (similar to Rogue One). Maybe an Anakin training movie between Episode 1 and 2, a Clone Wars movie between Episode 2 and 3, and a Rise of the Empire type movie between Episode 3 and Rogue One, etc
I kinda wish they would do a movie of some of the clones after order 66 (besides the obvious ones like Rex.)
I actually read it on Reddit, but yeah I saw the video.. thus why I said "the most intriguing rumor I have heard" not "the most intriguing rumor I have made" ;3
In the starwars universe anything is possible, lucas could create a trust to continue making movies forever
Interesting idea, I personally want to have more stuff about Ferus Olin and his life leading up to that point.
I heard that Woody Harrellson is going to play the young Han Solo in the Young Han Solo/Bounty Hunter thing that's supposed to go on.
She will be written out of the script. They have already said they won't recast or cgi Carrie fisher.
Did they ever clearly state that Luke was the chosen one? Originally obi won thought it was supposed to be Anakin but he screwed to pooch on that one.If Luke was to chosen one, what balance did he bring? The Jedi "returned"? After return of the Jedi, by my count there were less Jedi at the end of the original trilogy than in the begining of it making their return a little...not so returney. What's the deal with Leia? If she is lukes sister, where are her powers? Her only power seemed to be filling out that slave outfit rather nicely...did jabba hit it? That is the real question, Jabba did have a son...wonder what his midi chlorian count was...
Want more? Starkiller base...I mean deathstar... First order...I mean empire "Luke, I'm your father...I mean "Rey, I'm your father Ocsilator weakness...I mean exhaust port weakness You get the idea Copy/Paste collect millions Sound familiar?
On the topic of the whole chosen one thing, anakin was the chosen one. He killed sidious. He did bring balance to the force. However, I personally believe that by dying, he also broke that balance again.
The balance may have been the fact that Anakin came back from the dark side to the light side. We don't have record of that in the saga .... Yoda even stated to Luke on Dagobah that once he traveled towards the dark side "forever it will dominate" his path.
How I understand it is balance was brought when there was one sith, and one jedi. Vader being the obvious sith, luke the obvious jedi. That would be the definition of balance. However by dying, there was no longer that balance, which explains why in many of the EU, luke is seen as more of a dark jedi. He is balance itself. I don't particularly like where the Disney narrative Is going. By discarding the eu,the have essentially vilified themselves to those of us who know the eu,have been star wars fans for upwards of 40 years. And it also ruins much of what the original story messed up on. The eu fixed so much of the plot, that by discarding it, much of it no longer makes sense. My 2 cents tho. Take what you will out of it
