  1. Dear willy:

The tou you pointed out is in reference to flooding the server (or network)

    Bad ping, bad ping!

  2. LOL, look at the cry baby have his "hard" work destroyed. Now he tries to play victim, how cute. You're playing "semantics" I label you as a cheater, and it's my right and opinion. You abused something in the system that hurt others and mine, hard work. IMO that's cheating, therefor you are a cheater in my eyes.

Also, defamation of character is one of the hardest things to prove. Simple because my opinion is valid especially when it's justified, by your cheating. Go play the victim on PIMD, cause we don't care.

  3. EW yes that is what the tou means but developers will of course twist it to their own means depending on the case.

But that portion of tou means you can't ddos them etc. Can't hack their server or feed them a virus. Things of that nature

  4. If your going to sling accusations about a certain moderator who did it too, then post some proof!

Else, we don't really care. Cry elsewhere.

  5. If something is too good to be true, it probably is. A glitch that is apparently not meant to be part of the game mechanics, and is exploited given tremendous unfair advantage to those who used it is clearly a cheat. The lesson to be learnt is next time one finds a glitch, inform the devs instead of exploiting it. Consequences are fair in my opinion.

  6. Elegantly, they did fix it. Don't you see that? They recovered their gold. So what are you rambling on about glitches and whatnot?

I do need to admit that it wasn't just "free parking." I was also involved in the up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, a, b, a, b, select, start scam back in the day. But in my defense, that was a hard game and I needed those 99 lives.

  7. Maybe the Mod still had the gold out and it was taken back that way instead of through buildings!

  8. The problem is that the 'punishment'' was well in excess of what was taken.

Can't fault human nature. But you can fault who designed the system.

  9. Elegantly, cool story. You're so objective you can't see the damage created by this mess. And that the gold recouped is a fraction of the damage it caused.

Rather than explain to you how wrong you are, I'd rather go on about my day.

I'll stand by and wait for the "I'm lawyering up threads."

  10. Watch out guys! Call anyone a cheater and they might try and get you banned! Cheaters playing the victim card. It's like a rapist saying "She just thrusted at me! She screamed no, but her cries for help said yes!"

  11. Actually I was waiting for the question of why they call exploits 'cheats' in games ...

But I'll answer your question as best I can:

Exploits are a time honored tradition across many platforms. In the case of cod, for the most part the money is paid upfront, thus exploits are not seen as a problem as they only affect the integrity of the game.

In this kind of game, the money is perpetually pouring in and that 'fake gold' has a real net worth attached. That all being said, it is still a game, and the exploitation of code is not unusual in the gaming community.

Did they have fix the loophole - absolutely. Did they have to recoup their losses - of course. At the end of the day however it is still marketed as a game, and not a casino (Ie: its still fake gold). Therefore the resulting 'punishment' is in excess of what was done.

  12. Sure Elegantly. I see you're from a clan with many offenders of this exploit you've continuously downplayed. I shoulda checked that first. My mistake.

I can see now why you're so nonchalant about it. So I guess you and I are all done here. 

  13. Shoot the messenger all you want - its the message that counts. Pls feel free to address anything I have stated.

  14. We will be posting an update on this situation shortly.

  15. @iReg, this maybe why the devs should have been more liberal with the ban smack downs. That a player destroys a T4 building and gets a T5 refund can claim they didn't know its cheating is beyond me. This isn't just having the ATM give you $1000 when you withdrew $20, its then going back to the same ATM and making 50 $20 withdrawals so you can get $50,000.

Here is the thing, I'm sure good people ended up caught up in this little episode, maybe even people I know and otherwise respect. But, that's the part in life where you say you messed up, take the punishment and move on. For a player to just not understand that he/she is completely wrong is mind numbing.

  16. keep watching u might learn something baby girl <3333

  17. And KaW_admin speaks.....

  18. iReg don't mention clans in this. You are housing a known account thief that steals accounts from people out of KaW store. Wulf even knows and condones these actions. So before you go pointing a finger at other clans check your own.

Cuz I'm pretty sure we may have taken a little fake gold from KaW but your member steals accounts from people and laughs about it. I'm willing to bet the account he is using now was stolen off of someone in the store.

So like I said. Don't come call out other clans unless you want your dirty laundry aired

  19. God that's so hypocritical. We take a little fake gold your member steals peoples real life money and hard work they put into their account. And you guys condone the fact. So maybe regs need to do a little soul searching before you come call anyone cheats

  20. kaw_admin, hopefully 'shortly' isn't as long as 'asap' or we'll be waiting forever.
