To be fair queen he has every right to post his opinion here as you are putting down his culture then when he posts a counter argument you don't like you just ask him to leave. If this event was run so it was less cruel to the dogs would you be happy or is it the fact that it's a dog that makes you upset about this?

Queen, wolfie has not been disrespectful at all. He just have a diffrent opinion than you....thats not grounds for asking him to leave. You posted in a public forum. Live with the responses you get. I agree with wolfie 100%. This is a historical holiday type event for that culture. Thats the point. You want to change their culture. If you dont like what they do, dont watch it. I dont agree with what they do. But I sure as heck am not going to try and change it with a piece of paper that doesnt hold it weight across cultural or political boundaries.
I have seen what is going on and I am in no way supporting this event however just remember that halal meat is produced world wide on a larger scale and it is just as cruel to the animals as they suffer tremendously for a long period of time. If you want to make a change start with one closer to home. I agree the event needs to be made more humane however we cannot change a countries culture if we are not willing to change mistreatment of animals that is closer to home.

I'm choosing no part in this case because me myself don't want to let dogs and cats die but I don't want to change their culture either. Just telling the reason in attempt to clear things up. Yes these days social media makes us talk to the other part of the world but imagine, If you can't even stand up in your chair or desk and help the poor dogs and cats around, why would you do something that isn't as simple getting the dog or cat to your home? Full support of this as its what i said before in simple terms.....i have personally travelled to several hostile combat zones while serving in the marines...not to forcefully overthrow govts, but to assist in a humaitarian way. I also have travelled abroad on several mission trips to 3rd world countries to assist humans in need. Put up or shut up op....what have you done for your case here except ask people to sign a piece of paper?
