I was helping someone with ToU and they asked an interesting question that I've never been asked nor is it actually in ToU. Account sharing. Does it count if two people, who are close friends and in the same time zone, both play on one account on the same device? What if that's just how they KaW? What if they can only afford a single device? Should they be punished? I wasn't exactly sure how to answer that question.
Would be considered account sharing. If more than one person uses ONE account it is against ToU regardless of the circumstances. Correct if wrong
Thats what I thought. But I thought about why that was made: To keep it fair and so that no account will be up 24/7. But this account is only on one device and in the same time zone
People can have different sleep times. One can be awake at a certain period, another at another period.
So for example, (Idk if this is the case) if a married couple had 1 computer and played KaW thats account sharing?
That seems off to me.. I've never been asked this and still dont know how to explain it either way :lol:
If the married couple both used the same account yes. If they had one PC and no devices only one would allowed to play KaW. Married couples these days tend to have smart phones though so I doubt this case pops up too often =P
Sure it would be considered that. Most people who are married and have a computer, I assume that they will have at least one mobile device. 1 account for each spouse. I would try to PM or wall a mod to be 100% sure or email the devs.
Okay, it's technically not allowed, but you also can't prove that two different people are playing on the same account off the same device.
Ok.. Now the slightly harder and more suspicious question that I dont know how to answer. How would they know, if at all. (In case you're suspicious, there is ONE person behind this account :lol: )
Guess how they find bots. If a account is on for a long period of time, they would start monitoring it. So now they can either be using a bot or having more than one person
