The AFT sends it regards, but I will not personally be going. My fleet needs repair and attention. A hand-picked representative will go for me, and relay my words. Also, lady of Istania, thank you for the pet. It will be by my swivel chair always, so that I may pet it and look evil.
The UPAA should be recognized as a nation, they have made use of Antarctica unlike the technical owners. AFT should be recognized as UPAA territory as that is where Aft dock
Whoa now, AFT is not property. Don't objectify me. We are simply refugees with a nuclear carrier, that chose UPAA as our home.
The UPAA helped save innocent lives during the terrorist attack, and handled it better than most other nations. They also brought a 3rd world country that was dying of dehydration into the 1st world headlines. They have benefited more than many other nations in their short time period, if they are not considered a nation, then what should nations that have done much less things be known as?
Istan withholds their vote as they can see both sides of this and their mind does not sway more heavily either way.
Roman Republic withdraws their vote until more information is presented.I feel that aft should be given a true home
The Current thinga go as followed: The vote goes as follows: UPAA: Yes or no to countryship (Meaning you give up your rights to it.) AFT Yes or not to legitimacy and should inspectors be allowed on ship. Pm votes. After UPAA testimony.
My vote, right. My fleets have done nothing hostile, and we have in fact been on the defense this entire time. Now I'll admit, I am putting weapons on my ships, and I've got another coming down from Canada soon. But have I been hostile? Have I attacked anyone else, or been openly aggressive? I'll let you answer for yourselves, but I see myself as a commander in the UPAA navy now, so long as they'll have me. Not property, and no longer a refugee. My people have a home. Would you take it so soon?
What is a nation? A nation is a large group of people that are united. Are we not united? We have bonded together through this time so much that we could call another person in this land a brother. Our people may not be from the same heritage, the same cultures, or have the same history, but we still trust each other, more so than other nations. There is almost no infighting here, yet in other nations there are. If we cannot be called a nation, then how can nations that are barely united under a single banner also be called one? Should we just split every country that has differences up into different countries? We have tried our best to benefit the world, for that is the similar thought we all share, the vision to see the world a better place.
Next issue: Many nations have taken to building up their militaries after a single attack. And they have only attacked once after. Should we cap the militaries of the world, form an international counterterrorism group and redisarm or leave it up to each nation and tax them.
If we cap the military, then we will have the NATO vs. Warsaw Pact occurrence, and it will be whoever has the biggest alliance.
