Bram stroker's 1897 Dracula is a monster-terror novel that really tells the story of the repressed sexuality of nineteeth-century Victorian England. Endless sexual symbolism is present throughout the novel, which has resulted in many literary critics trying to explain its significance. Because of the sexual nature of the text, paired with the fact that the novel was published into Victorian England, many critics have turned to Freudian explanations, or to a lesser degree, anthropological explanations, of Stoker’s intent. However, while sexuality has often been addressed in critical analysis, most writing about Dracula focuses on the first half of the novel and the sexual escapades of Jonathan and the weird sisters in Dracula’s castle. However, these theories, as a whole, neglect the overpowering themes of masculinity and male domination present for most of the latter half of the book. .....what? It is a Writing Café.....
I never left... I just didn't bother to show my face on FF due to the increased levels of violence etc. I'm Karlsberg, Blitz, Thunder, Shock, Twitch. I'm the player with a thousand names! (Too many resets on my part) Egg rolls eh? Well... At least he came back with a nice treat to share? IrinNoooooo. She was a genius for her age! But then again; life goes on. We just have to make the best of the situations we find ourselves in. Long posts, woo!
Irin didn't quite quit, I just haven't seen her in several months… And I haven't Iron in ages… Can anyone confirm his existence? Or more, non existence? But yeah Karl, You teleporting out of this universe silenced FF for a bit.
Education and studying is catching everybody up! Haha! And I don't care what Iron is doing, I'm glad he's gone! Where's Stora? I best get writing soon; get this place rolling again!
I wish I could tell y'all my real age... But, alas, I can't. The level of mature content in my stories does not reflect my TRUE age, though... I'm like Father Time.
Ugh. Education and studying is blehhhh. I've been working on my science fair project for an hour now, because I accidentally deleted my original file. I have about a month's worth of work to redo in three hours.
Yes Stora. Each country has its pull of the fabric of the Universe. This is because it is easier to handle then one unlucky beggar having to control the Universe. Each country's section of the Universe is different and controls different areas. But although we have different sections of the Universe, which are very separated; we can visit each other or talk, via the Internet or by a phone. If a country does not care for its section of the Universe, the country, the section of the Universe and the people can be shut off from the rest of existence outside of that section. If the fabric of that Universe were to say, rip or tear. Then a paradox can be created. This paradox, if not taken care of, could lead to the destruction of everything that exists, that existed or will ever exist.
