I've been nodding because I was laughing. I'm smiling because I can't wait to go and start writing the tamica-York scene!

No. There isn't a rule about characters on your own thread.

 

Nope. Once you've turned in a submission to a sign up, it's under the author's jurisdiction to use or not to use. They reserve the right to change their minds.

I was thinking shouldn't there be a classified order of writer award things here? Like Beginners, Novice, intermediate, expert, then legendary class awards?

No it's just like the writers with more experience and so forth. You know those story awards every 6 months? I think

 

Like best story of this class goes to (insert name here) and so forth ya know. Balancing out so people get a fair chance at contending?

I understand what you mean. But no, it won't go, author's (unless they're truly talented) can't win something from the get-go. Writing is something that takes months to realize and years to formalize. Just cause you've got something nice doesn't mean you can get an award just cause. You compete with the top and get swept up. After hanging on through the rigors of FanFic will you truly get a threshold and possibly make a name for yourself. So no, you gotta work at it yourself.
