What's more bloodthirsty and painful?A knife through each limb then one through the heart or having your eyes ripped out with a rusty screwdriver then your lungs pieced with a fork?
A preview of Broken, Book Two of the Innocence Series, Chapter 10: "I still can't believe you went without me." Liz said. As if I did everything with her. Which I did. Until exactly one month and one day ago. "I just wanted to be alone, alright?" I snapped. "And you just happened to carry every single weapon you own with you." "I did not. I left my spear behind." I looked up from my breakfast long enough to see her role her eyes at me. "Look, can we just drop it?" "How many did you kill, anyway? Or did you get any at all?" "For your information I killed two." My voice had an edge to it. "Now just drop it, okay?" "Fine." And we sat quietly, only the sound of our spoons screeching against our bowls to break the silence. But Liz just had to break it. "Did you get Lyn to fix your leg yet?" And for some reason, that sent me over the edge. --- So that's a good chunk of the middle, which is a great deal more than I had yesterday, but it still frustrates me. I'm wondering if I should...never mind. Does anyone have anything they want to see in Broken? Fight scenes, Arguments, that sort of stuff? Wall me if you have any suggestions, please. -Irin
A combination if Fantastic and Fabulous! Irin, will you do me a favor? Read the story: A Changing Personality. I recently recruited the young author from my clan, and she's looking for feedback. I would really appreciate it. ~ FeatherHunter
Okay, sure. But I just have to say this, because I think it's funny. I am actually writing Chapter 11 before I finish 10.
Aww Irin you just had to post that! Now I won't be able to stop thinking if what's going to happen lol
@Feather, done. @Stora, Actually that was most of the chapter. I was thinking of making chapter 10 super short, then continuing with it in chapter 12 or 13. 11 and possibly 12 would be used for a back-to-back...something.
