  1. "Nothing," replied Reg flatly. "Maybe it could be fun being a spirit! I might have some awesome spirit powers to discover! And maybe if I can be a powerful spirit I can make a new body for myself, or atleast an illusion; there are many wizards that do that..." Reg's voice trailed off, but everybody sensed that she was focused on the corner of the room.

  2. "Ya?" she asked, clearly unfocused.

  3. "what are you stareing at?"riddle says slowly.

  4. "I can't stare without a body," replied Reg, clearly avoiding the question.

  6. "Clearly." Delphin rolled his eyes at reg

Delphin then decided he had enough. So, pulling his hood ofer his face and putting headphones on he entered a world of his own.

  7. "ah your right. Well tell me when your done chatting." riddle says.

  8. Reg stares at the story...
"It's too long!" she declares. "I don't feel like reading it, sorry!"

  9. "Chatting?" asks Reg, confused.

  11. PROLOGUE

"Where's my sister?" wailed an eerie voice. "Where's Susan? Have you seen her? Can you help me find her?" I turned around to see a young girl. She looked only 8 or 9, and her face was distraught with fear and worry.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what happened to her. Do I know you?" I asked, my walk in the woods clearly ruined.
"No, you don't." The girl's face became deathly pale, and her eyes glowed red. She sneered at me as she disappeared in a puff of pitch black smoke.
All that remained to show she had been there was a strange doll, which stared silently with it's unblinking glass eyes. I realized the doll looked exactly like me.
A second later, what seemed like a thousand dolls appeared. The army of dolls seemed endless. Some were ripped or falling apart, but all of them were staring directly at me. They looked familiar, and I had an odd feeling that I had seen them somewhere before. I noticed that the doll that looked like me was in the front, and it had it's lips curved upward in a sinister smile.
But it hadn't been smiling before.
There was maniacal laughter in the in the distance, and I felt an acute pain on the back of my head. Then everything went black.

    Chapter 1
    The Darkness

I opened my eyes. Nothing was different. Everything was still black. I wondered if my eyes were really open. I wondered if I had eyes.
I wondered if I was dead.
There was an enormous weight on me. I couldn't move. I couldn't see. I couldn't understand what I was thinking.
    The weight was my body.
    Or was it my mind?
    I couldn't tell.
    I couldn't remember anything.
    I was trapped!
    Trapped in my mind.
I was helpless; a victim of whatever evil creature had trapped me there.
Air wasn't coming into my lungs.
Air! I need air! I remembered, forcing myself to take long, painful, shuddering breaths of the damp, foul air.
How long had I been here?
As soon as air entered my body, it rushed out of my lungs and I heard a piercing scream of pain.
Oh, that poor screaming girl, I thought.
It wasn't until I felt the throbbing pain on the back of my head that I realized, the girl was me.
    My fingers began to tingle.
Are those my fingers? Maybe they're my toes.
Do I have fingers and toes?
At least I know I have a head.

I conceived that the tingling was movement.
Yes, I have fingers, and I'm moving them. I confirmed in my mind.
All I could do was think.
I would've probably made a major discovery about philosophy, or the meaning of life, or how to create world peace, if my thoughts hadn't been rudely interrupted.
"She's awake," growled a gruff voice. Vaguely, I realized I was hearing, and I had ears. I've been awake for hours! How come he just noticed?
Was I really awake for hours? Maybe it was just a few seconds. What's the difference between hours and seconds? What is time?
If I make it out of this alive, I am definitely going to be a philosopher when I grow up.
With all these thoughts racing threw my head, I barely noticed when the voice continued.
"Oh, do you have a headache?" asked the voice mockingly. "Don't worry. Where you're going, that won't matter.
"Who are you? What do you want from me?" I asked bravely, surprised by the sound of my own voice. My voice was rough and dry, and my throat ached at the feeble attempt to speak. My mouth felt as dry as the Sahara Desert.
    What's the Sahara Desert?
    "WATER! I NEED WATER!"
    Did I say that aloud?
"Oh no! The princess needs water! What'll we do?" The mocking voice was getting on my nerves.
"Princess? What are you talking about?"
"You don't remember?" he asked, laughing. "The brat has amnesia!"
"ENOUGH!" shouted a mysterious voice. She sounded like a girl. "Give her some water. We don't want her to die of thirst. We need her alive."
