"I...I...I..." "I told you." Said a voice from across the room. "Secrets are dangerous." Alex had been there the whole time, observing the scene. "Give it up. Give the Secret up. Niether of us feel like keeping it."
GlooMi grins ferociously at Lady. "Might be dangerous? Sweetheart, you challenge me, or Irin for that matter, I will have no choice but to crush you."
Irin sighed, and hung her head in shame. It was no use, Alex was right. "Its okay GlooMi. No one needs to get hurt." She looked up, then moved her hair away so that her pointed ears could be seen. "Its true. I'm an elf."
"Lady, I don't have any magic. As far as I know, neither do you." Star's concern for her keeps growing.
GlooMi barely glances at Alex. She has her thought shields up, so he was not even a threat. And after what happened before, she doubted he was too eager to take a peek at her mind.
"GlooMi, I would be a fool to challenge you. Buy being crazy, theirs no telling what I'll do." Lady says, trying to hide her confusion. Where the heck did Alex cone from? Lady thought Alex was cool and all, but when people jump out of the shadows like that... Lady shuddered.
"You're an elf irin? SWEET!" Lady yells, pumping her fist in the air. That makes two people weirder than her.
Irin smiled weakly at Lady's comment, then frowned again. "Im sorry. I shouldve told you all sooner. It's just...you guys aren't really aloud to know about us."
"I know...but...I could get in deep troble for just telling any of you here know." She sighed, then made herself a cup of hot apple cider.
GlooMi smiled, her face unusually calm at the new revelation. She did not appear to be surprised. "Of course you aren't human Irin." GlooMi responded tiredly. "As a matter of fact neither am I. Nobody with any kind of strong magical energy can be human."
