1st Matrix ..I do like Blade Runner a lot ...2001 Space Odyssey is critics choice for best Sci-fi movie of all time.
The worst all time is transmorphers....I started watching on Netflix one time to make fun of a bad movie with my friends. I had to turn it off because it was so bad it wasn't even worth mocking it just made me want to die trying to sit through the intro!!!!
All the new scifi are money whores, with very few exceptions just to name two Dune Original starwars These will never be beaten and most likely never have another movie come close to the height that these two movies have climbed
Ender's Game was pretty good(pretty sure that's the name). I liked the Battlestar Galactica movie that came out here recently.. Lots of hottie's.
Yessss, was trying to remember what it was called. We read the book in my English class last year, and googled the movie up. Both were great, but as with all movies, a lot was missing with the movie.
I liked Tron. It was engaging and I grew to like the characters. Transformers 4 also had a brilliant plot and was thoroughly enjoyable. Incredible Bulk was highly imaginative and had amazing graphics. Although not a movie, I liked the character development in Destiny. On a serious note, if you're looking for a good book, then Mortal Engines is good. It's set in a world where Russia remained communist and the Cold War escalates. All of that is guess work as it is just referred to as the "downsizing" and one throwaway line says that the USA "created a weapon that pulls power from another dimension". So obviously nukes weren't enough in this world... Good read and leaves you with a lot of guess work and intrigue. It's in most libraries.
Some good sci fi has to include blade runner and 2001 they are older but still amazing more recent stuff interstellar was excellent also things like dark city Akira minority report Star Wars and Star Trek set bench marks for sci fi some good series include the old Babylon 5 shows lots of excellent anime. As for books Orson Scott Card David Brin both excellent modern sci fi while Arthur A Clarke and Asimov are classics for the ideas they presented.
