...is it the 2nd or 3rd one where they have the battle for Zion? Anyways that's one of my favorite movie scenes of all time.
What about the opening scene of x-men when nightcrawler breaks into the Whitehouse. That was beyond its time. Then they outdid themselves with that scene of quicksilver rescuing magneto where we could watch him in slow motion at top speed
Ex-Machina was a true sci-fi movie and a great one, made me truly fear AI and understand what Stephen Hawkins was taking about with AI... ..according to him it's "the" greatest threat to mankinds future.
Jupiter ascending should not even be mentioned....that movie was boxer line b status..... But legit the whole star wars franchise best all time....hands down. Then I'd say the alien series tied with the predator series
Also it was in a galaxy far far away so making it a pirate setting in a different galaxy just sounds dumb if we keep the same plot.
Jupiter ascending is the worst of the worst. But if you read the op you will see I said the worst scifi not the best scifi
Watching them on TV doesn't do them justice , also take out all the high tech post 2000 crap. Got to see these on the big screen .. my best are 2001 Blade Runner Alien And do not forget the King of Big Breasted Animated Sci-fi, the 1980 classic Heavy Metal !!!!
Mr Nobody, this is by far my favorite science fiction movie. However my opinion might be a bit biased because it draws multiple parallels to my own life. The Signal, an extremely confusing but extremely rewarding science fiction film. The film elegantly combines both the emotional aspects and mental reasoning. Clearly showing how hard it is for some people to push aside logic and reason for what they really want. Again I might be a bit biased because I can pull parallels from my own life.
For me best sci-fi are The eternal sunshine of spotless mind. Truman show. Groundhog day. Back to future.
Dreamscape Westworld Planet of the Apes (original ones) Soylent Green Omega Man ...Westworld is def one of my favorites lol
