Re: The Great Quetzal Hunt I feel these specialty item events miss the mark. First the pay out even for a little guy on the epic battle is horrific. If locust swarm was used, your not making any gold in fact you loosing gold. Second, items should be a reward for people who are active. The more hits you contribute the more you receive on any epic battle. By doing this it incentivises xtal usage. It also allows players to enjoy the game on their own level (not being steered toward a single epic battle you would rather forget). Devs my plea to you is to get it right the next event. Maybe you will make more gold and get more people active. Fangs, Moths, Feathers, each were not very fun. Three strikes I'm out.
Re: The Great Quetzal Hunt Oh and by the way, I've noticed a lot of promises that this event will get better. I don't think the kaw community wants promises it will get better. I for one would like acknowledgment that our concerns are valid. I want to see plans of how you will change what you have done to OUR game. I want to see an apology for making OUR game boring and monotonous. There is an attitude, I noticed in previous posts by the devs, that our concerns are just a bunch of winers that don't like the free stuff they provide. However, post after post reflects the disillusionment we are feeling toward this game. Devs, make this right quickly. We have spent money and time into this game to get where we are. It would be a shame to walk away to find somewhere else to play. If you can't tell I'm having a Major Tantrum. Lol
Re: The Great Quetzal Hunt Sorry draxton2, I didn't miss what you alleged. You missed my point that the feather hunt needn't feel like I'm being gouged. I contribute to the "for profit" nature of the game. All I'm asking is something reasonable in return.

Do you mean that the first tier of equipment will be really really bad and the last piece will be amazing? Because in all honesty, how much bonus can a trinket and boots give? Tier 1 equip boots. 500k,500k,500k,500k at max lv Tier 3 equip boots. 3m/5m/2m/4m. That is just an estimate but if those are the stats of the equipment max lv for 50k, that is not worth the time. The boots will be in no way comparison to the Sporaveks Revenge boots

Re: The Great Quetzal Hunt What's the point of spending money trying to get feathers for these items you can simply buy for less money in the end? You can probably buy aqua/inferno/horn and deal for less money than the amount of xtals you'll need to spend to try and get to the necessary tier. Pay for a dumb achievement and equipments that aren't special except for a different artwork? I think not. But good luck to those who decide to use their money and support this event.
