Homophobes should consider a little self-reflection, suggests a new study finding those individuals who are most hostile toward gays and hold strong anti-gay views may themselves have same-sex desires, albeit undercover ones. How many people on this thread haven't came out of the closet? I show some hostility on this thread and research shows that a large majority are questionable. Hehe
No I don't think Christians should be able to reject the "normalisation" of homosexuality you bigot. You are making homosexuals seem abnormal. Why shouldn't they be seen as equal to Christians? Isn't that what Christianity is all about. Ok now that I've answered your ridiculous question answer mine with a simple yes or no, failure to do is clarification you're a bigot. Should homosexuals have equal rights to a straight person? If no, name them. In God's eyes everyone is equal so how can you as a christian think otherwise? Remember God is the only judge. Please express your thoughts on homosexuals and what you think is wrong with them as you obviously believe there is Please outline what it is exactly Christians should be able to reject when it comes to the "normalization" of homosexuality? If you travelled to Syria. You would more in common with isis than me o devout christian Christianity is a life style choice. Your sexuality isn't.
To some, the bible says being gay and participating in gay acts is wrong. Some christians believe it to be wrong. Do they not have the right to fight against what they believe is wrong? Or do you just have the right to fight for what you believe is right? Gays have the same rights as everyone else in the land. They can get married, they just can't marry someone of the same gender. Well technically, neither can I? I'm straight but don't have the option either. It's not denial of "rights" until the supreme court says no. God acknowledges that we are not perfect. We sin. God is the only judge, but God gave us free will. We can have an opinion.
@aj Twice you said you were done with me and to follow me if you want to continue this. Yet here you are again Gay people are fighting for equal rights and Christians are fighting to prevent gay people from having equal rights. There's a difference you dumbass. Them not agreeing with homosexuality is ok as long as they don't deny them their equal rights and that's what brood is saying that Christians should have the right to deny gays equal rights
Yes I know. I changed my mind when you took yet another jab. I see you changed part of your stance to fall in line with what I was saying. What rights are christians denying gays? Please answer that for me.
I didn't change my stance whatsoever you're the one who said you changed your mind lol. The right to marry. The right to be seen as equal . Seeing them as sick sinners . Refusing them services because they are gay to name a few Just because I showed you to be what you are a discriminatory ignorant bigot doesn't mean you have to lie about my posts but then again please continue its just more ss for me to send on to ata. .Oh btw they replied to me and said they are taking my allegations seriously and are thoroughly analysis the information provided and will respond in due course. So keep digging
Why am I even conversing with someone who believes you don't have to know someone personally to hate them. Very vk You can hate them and there's nothing wrong about that as long you don't harm them lol.
Once again we find the patently false "equal rights" argument that has been soundly refuted everytine a bigot uses it to justify discrimination. It is a false argument because it reclasifies a restriction as a "right." Under this bogus reasoning, everyone has the equal right to do only as one group wishes. For example: You have the right to worship Satan or to not worship Satan. Worshipping Jesus or God or anything else is against the law, but because you can choose to worship or not worship Satan, you have equal rights and religious freedom. It's very easy to say recast a restriction as a right if the restriction does not not affect you. Try this: A man has the right to marry a woman, but a woman does not have that right. In what way is that not gender based discrimination, subject to strict scrutiny? So, according to AJ here, slavery, jim crow laws, and denial of voting to women and minorities were not a denial of "rights" because these practices were legal at the time. The reason laws supporting these were struck down was because the Court recognized these rights - rights that they always had and should have always had. The Supreme Court does not create rights, it recognizes them and protects them - even in cases where it gets them Dred Scott wrong for a number of years. So, No. Equal rights are not restricted by false logic, and they can be violated prior to the Supreme Court's recognition of them.
America's ideals are so religiously based, it's what's wrong with them. Religion is a plague that needs to be cured
That's the thing they DO have the right to marry. I have the right to marry. Do they have the right to marry someone of the same gender? No. Neither do I. If you want me to make you a cake that forces me to go against my beliefs, I feel you should be able to turn them down. But it should be handled on a case by case basis. Can you form a reply that doesn't include insults? @KingCalm, Please do not use my arguments for this topic to try to reflect or tie it to other topics. My arguments for gay marriage is for gay marriage only. I handle my topics case by case. You can ask me questions on them and I will directly answer you.
As I have said, bigotry can be a matter of opinion. But the fake justifications are dishonest and disgusting.
And to add to his hateful Ness he believes gay people do have equal rights. As they can marry people of the opposite se x. Newsflash they're gay why would they want to marry someone who they won't love. Do you want to marry someone of the same se x. See how dumb you sound?
They already have equal rights in your opinion as they can marry someone they won't love. Let's hope the Supreme court isn't as backward or condescending as you.
