I did it. And that thread is talking about FALSELY accusing another player. A moderator have no tools to check if that accusations is false or not. Therefore they shouldn't take any action but to report support team and let them deal with it.
It also says what to do if you have proof, one of them is, DONT POST IT IN FORUMS 'Accusing players of fraud' thread
Faroukh, Rules of Conduct is talking about FAKE screenshot. Indeed there is that forum thread you are all talking about. But that thread is using players not to post proofs about FRAUD. There's nothing about not posting proofs regarding a potential cheating in game.
I have warred with syl a couple times, and they seem to know just about anything you could ever need to know about warring. We had a clear loss matchup, Syl WCed and made it a good war and made it entertaining. Syl is also one of the most generous and helpful people on the game. Go Syl!!
Tis true. Also true we have no way of really checking authenticity of an claim or accusation. Also no way of knowing if a screen shot is faked or not.this is why they want you to send ALL accusations and ALL evidence you may have to support and to not post it here or anywhere in public channels.
Acetwon, as of today the RoC is talking about FALSELY accusing another player. Not about accusing. Anyone can accuse me about absolutely anything. If I have a problem with that I report it to support as being the only one who have the tools to do an investigation on me. And at the end of investigation, support can take action either against accuser either against me. The thread you are talking about its about fraud accusations and not about cheating accusations. Hence "send us the proofs and we are going to forward them to Apple or other autorities. Posting rules are policed by ToU and RoC and not by some forum thread (not even a stickied one) be it posted by KaW admin. If they don't like people to accuse each other in a public space takes 1 second the edit RoC.
Stop noobing up this thread. Unless a player openly admits to cheating, how does one know that the cheating accusation is true? Oh yeah, you don't. Which makes it a false accusation until support runs an investigation to verify validity. Even then the accuser will never know the outcome of said investigation and in any case the forum is not the place for it.
