Chapter 3 Yanshizai walked up to Bastion. He tried to cheer him up but Bastion just ignored him. Yanshizai felt it was best to leave him alone. Bastion was heartbroken. He felt there was only one way to solve this, go after the murderer. Bastion walked home with revenge and rage in his eyes. He was exhausted and needed sleep.Lucky for Bastion, the dojo started the next day, it would help him cool off. After Bastion packed his clothes and weapons for this new aeventure, he took the walk to Ranyin Town and found his way to the dojo. There he saw Yanshizai and a few other students ready for learning, some of them had experience with other martial arts but most of them, not so much. "Good morning, Master Yanshizai," said Bastion with a chuckle. Yanshizai walked over to Bastion and bowed, "In my dojo we are going to train like i did, back home!" Bastion was ready for anything that came his way, first was the basic punch and then kicks and so one. At the end of the lesson, Bastion was exhausted and ready for a break. "There's more to karate then i really thought," said Bastion with no energy left. Yanshizai offered Bastion a lunch, and the two friends sat in the dojo eating the delicious food. "Bastion, i know you're already a master at the dual-handed sword, but why not try your luck at my style, a katana?" asked Yanshizai curiously. Bastion looked uneasy about the whole thing but accepted. Two mastered weapons equals better skill and a better chance of staying alive on his upcoming adventure. Then Bastion realized, "How am i supposed to train with a katana when I'm out trying to take revenge," He was uneasy about the whole adventure already, but now he has to ditch his friend and his teachings. "I can tell you have something else to do, something important, Bastion," said Yanshizai with a painting of disappointment all over his face. Bastion nodded, "I'm going to avenge my father, he was a great man and he was killed by the slimiest crime lord in the whole country." Yanshizai stood up and looked Bastion straight in the eye,"We are going to train!!" shout Yanshizai. Bastion replied with,"Yan, bu-" "I'm coming with you," whispered Yanshizai. But, before Yanshizai would go, he had to test Bastion on his skill. "Bastion, are you ready?" asked Yanshizai. Bastion nodded with his two-handed sword gripped firmly. Yanshizai drew his katana, and pointed it at Bastion. 3...2...1... GO!!!!!! Yanshizai rushed Bastion with amazing speed, he swung the sword. Somehow Bastion caught it right before it slashed his head. Then he parried the slash and took the blade down to Yanshizai's feet. But then Yanshizai front flipped over Bastion and once his feet caught the ground, he ran up to the wall of the dojo and threw daggers at Bastion, he dodged the daggers right before they struck him in the stomach. Then Bastion charged Yanshizai with sword slicing the ground and creating a wind of sparks, once he got close enough he swept his sword up. Yanshizai stepped on Bastion's sword, but Bastion adjusted the slice caught Yanshizai. Yanshizai smirked as the two gave distance to eachother. He stood up and then he realized Bastion wasn't there, he was behind him!
