Did you even read the post? Haunting = 50% more pluder HTE = same amount of plunder Relative difference changed only. HTE still pays out the same amount.
We understand that hte remains the same payout. What is being said is that it's no longer 3x the payout of regular haunt. That's true, it isn't. I don't really care either way, just tired of people arguing against something that isn't being argued. People did pay for seals that were for an eb that was clearly advertised as 3x the payout of normal haunt. That's no longer the case and not sure how that can be disputed.
I really don't see the problem with this. It is the same price for the same amount of gold, like it always had been with HTE. Nothing has changed with the HTE gold bonus. Should HTE change just because another epic battle changes its gold plunder? And the devs actually said that the gold plunder did not change for HTE and ROTWB.
The point being that with the extra 50% on haunting, the payout on hte does not give the same value for money as it did before. It was 3x haunting now only 2x so u r paying the same price for a seal that is now a third under valued!

I must say though Mango, before the weekend promo started, I made 105 million per hit on HTE. Now, after te promo, I make 68 million per hit.
You do realise the promo didn't start at the weekend so you were already getting the 50% boost. Notice how your 2nd value is roughly 50% less.
The reason it was changed was because Haunting was increased by 50%. HTE has NOT changed, it now says 2× haunting because the amount of gold haunting gave was increased. Same gold payout, same as advertised.
3x gold from haunt was an observation, not a rule. Where did it say that HTE must be 3x haunt? this all reminds me a book Aristotle wrote about plays, he was describing how plays looked like but in the renaissance people took it as law on how plays must be written... funny
You purchased a seal to get 3x the amount of gold than what haunt used to pay and you still do get 3x what it used to pay but obviously you don't get 3x what it pays now so there is no problem ok thanks.
By this same logic you should have complained about hte 50% promos when they were over 3x normal haunts if you had purchased seals before while they were only 3x. Argument invalid.
Say payout for haunting is 10. 10x1.5=15 payout for hte would've remained the same, hun, do the maths

If you are paying to get x3 more than the free paying player than this is what you should receive or be refunded the cost 59nobs as this is no longer getting you x3 more than a free player, you paid for that advantage...

One number changed, and that number had 0 effect on anything in your precious HTE. The payout is the same, the bars and phases are the same. One superficial number changed.
