[title=white+grey]Crazy8[/title] A pitch black new moon. A flash of lightning. A lone, dire scream piercing the cold night's silence. This monthly cycle had been continuing for the past 6 years, almost as long as the entire kingdom's lifespan. Every time there was a new moon, a new victim would be claimed. The pattern to these deaths were random, and the whole kingdom knew that it was only a matter of time before someone of utmost importance would be annihilated. The leader of the kingdom decided that in order to quell the danger of this unknown threat, three warriors of rivaling clans would form a tentative alliance to stop the killer once and for all. The three warriors chosen were known for their valor and their might, as well as their ability to utterly destroy any kingdom they came across. So began the uneasy alliance of the three warriors known solely as X, Y, and Z. These chosen heroes traversed the treacherous landscape in order to track and locate the unknown assailant. Finally, after months of fruitless effort, the warriors stumbled upon a lead hidden in the dirt. After careful excavation of the clue, the warriors unearthed an array of symbols. At first, the symbols resembled meaningless gibberish, but over time, the three warriors were able to deduce that the symbols coded for the awe-inspiring Mount Spragga. This mountain was regarded as the most dangerous landmark all throughout the world, but it was here that the mysterious beast would be found. So, the warriors ventured onward and reached the mountain. They began to climb it's perilous slopes, which were riddled with crevasses leading straight to the underworld. However, the unknown threat had caught wind of its assassins, and decided to take action against this new danger. With an insidious gust of dark energy, the ground beneath the three warriors suddenly cracked wide open. X and Z leaped clear of the gaping pit, but Y's reflexes were a millisecond too slow, and he fell into the hole with a lone scream, never to be seen or heard from again. And so there were two. A week after the loss of Y, the other two warriors were still dumbfounded by the raw display of power shown by this seemingly ubiquitous enemy. They could barely comprehend the raw strength of this being. However, the king of the land had ordered them to destroy this threat, so the duo pressed onward over the slopes of Mount Spragga. The unknown being was surprised over the perseverance of these two warriors, so it decided to act out against them another time, in an effort to scare the twosome away. The next night, the two warriors heard a low, whistling noise echo on the mountain. Over their dim fire, the two warriors looked at each other, terrified of what was about to happen. Just then, a massive ray of pure darkness rose from the ground, enveloping Z in a crushing embrace. Just as quickly as the darkness came, it disappeared, taking Z with it. A lone scream. One more warrior left. X was horribly frightened by this point. Both of his comrades had perished to this unknown threat, and X knew that he would be next. To his surprise, as he continued the long trek up the mountain, he encountered no hardships along the way. Food was plentiful, and the terrain was relatively easy to traverse. Before X knew it, he had reached the summit of the mountain. At the top of the mountain, in a dimly lit section, he glimpsed a small dark cave. "This is where the monster must be" said X to himself. Summoning all the courage he possessed, X ventured into the gloomy cave. X lit a torch he had brought with him from the beginning of his journey. Sword drawn, he stealthily crept down the cave, listening for the sound of this unnatural beast. Suddenly, he heard a snapping noise behind him, and X whirled around, ready to strike at this unknown threat. To his complete surprise, Y was standing right behind him. "What! This can't be real!" X exclaimed in shock. Y didn't answer him, but instead motioned for X to follow him deeper into the cave. Stunned by this new development, X followed Y farther into the darkness. The cave was much larger on the inside than it seemed, and after a mile or so of walking, Y turned a corner and exited X's line of vision. X quickly rounded the corner, and nearly collided into Z, who was standing right where Y should have been. "How is this happening..." X muttered in disbelief. Similar to Y's behavior, Z simply turned around, walked deeper into the cave, and motioned for X to follow him. Shaking his head in a stupor, X walked after Z, wondering what was going to happen. A short while later, X came to a large room inside of the cave, which looked to have an altar right in the middle of it. Y and Z were standing on either side of the altar, murmuring in a strange language. "Why am I here? What is this place? What is wrong with you all?" X blurted out. Instead of answering the question, Y turned to the altar, saying: "we have brought the third to you, my lord. Shall we proceed?". A booming voice resonated through the cave: "PROCEED". Y and Z started to approach X in a calm, yet oddly threatening manner. "Join us, X." Murmured Z. "Join us in the raising of our Lord". At first, Y and Z were over 30 feet from X, but, in the blink of an eye, they were right on top of him. "Let me go!" Shouted X. His pleas fell on deaf ears, as Y and Z brought X to the altar table. The same sinister dark energy that took over Y and Z now started to seep into X. Suddenly, X understood everything. This creature was not a bad thing. It was the kingdoms liberation from the vices that had gripped it. X smiled as the dark matter slowly consumed him. All was right in the world, now that he understood... With the final assimilation of X, the unknown creature was able to achieve full power, something that it had not seen since before the time of Majesty, the original warrior that had imprisoned the creature in the altar. Now, the creatures power was near limitless, and with the help of its new henchmen, X, Y, and Z, the creature was free to do whatever it wished. Instead of the attacks only coming every new moon, a new victim was claimed every single day. The kingdom is now in serious danger of losing everything to this unknown assailant, now called Stelios the undertaker. Armies now must come together and face a new threat, one unlike any threat ever seen. An "epic" threat, if I do say so myself. Can you and your clan defeat Stelios and his three minions X, Y, and Z? A lone scream echoes through the night...
