BREAKING NEWS: cop found not guilty

  1. I read the article about the 68 year old man shot in his driveway. You neglect to mention it was after he was chased for 9 miles by police. The facts of the case haven't been released and you are assuming the officer was just there to shot an old man. You have not facts to back up that claim.

I also read the wal Mart story and it says a man was walking around the store pointing a pellet guy at other customers and refused to drop it when confronted by police.. The gun had a warning on it that you shouldn't brandish it to police.

I also saw the article about the 12 year old getting shot.. Some dumbass gave him an air soft gun that looked real and he was pointing at people on the play ground. When confronted by cops he reached into his waste bang in a hostile way.. Looks to me these people were just acting stupid and want to blame police

  2. You wouldn't use your tazer? Or use your training? He chose the easiest option, emptying a clip in the kid. Everyone reacts different when they're put in threatening positions, his head wasn't clear, or he didn't care. Maybe they should go into better training when coming into conflict with someone.

You'll like this one. He was a white guy defending his home and family from what he thought were burglars during a botched late-night police drug raid that was based solely on the word of a meth addict who had robbed the property two nights before.

I could keep going. The news is full of cops shooting people who aren't a threat.

  4. It doesn't matter if he had been chased for 100 miles. He had no weapon. He wasn't even speeding. He never threatened the cops in anyway. Not pulling over when signaled is not sufficient grounds to kill someone.

  5. He wasn't carrying a taser and what training are you talking about? What is he trained to do?

  6. The officer was indicted in that case so your arguement was that they can shoot anyone and get away with it.. You just proved your own case wrong

  7. First of all the guy was running from the cops for some reason unknown to us. But once the guy steps out of the vehicle and reaches for something in his or her pockets the cop has the right to shoot due to the fact that there may be a weapon of some sort in the pocket.

  8. Yeah, they came down hard on him

"NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – The state trooper charged with felony assault for shooting an unarmed driver during a traffic stop isn't the only police officer in South Carolina facing charges in a shooting.

North Augusta Public Safety officer Justin Craven was indicted last month in the shooting death of a 68-year-old black man at the end of a 9-mile slow-speed chase in Edgefield County. Prosecutors asked a grand jury to indict the white officer on a felony charge of voluntary manslaughter, but they refused, charging him with misdemeanor misconduct in office instead."

They charged him with a misdemeanor.

  9. Black dragon you don't know that he didn't threaten the cops.. That was not released

  10. Again Black Dragon we don't have all the facts in those cases.. But I guess that grand jury must have been racist huh? We must assume that considering we are ignorant to the facts

  11. Now that is true

  12. Read the story. He never got out of the vehicle. They shot him through the car door.

By the way, I love how you guys are fixated on this story, but ignored the Wal-mart story. That one has video. You can see for yourself if he was acting threateningly. He wasn't. He was talking on the phone.

  14. Black Dragon your ignorance is what's wrong with the people in Ferguson.. You rush to judgment without all the facts. This why we are in this perdicment.. It just easier to call the guy a racist and make an excuse for the other person so we can feel better about how all cops are racist trash

  15. Actually, I'm concerned whenever they shoot anyone unarmed, white or black.

The grandfather in Georgia, David Hooks, was white.

Meet 59-year-old David Hooks, the latest drug raid fatality
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the- ... -fatality/

It's a lovely case. He'd just been robbed the night before. The cops didn't have a no-knock warrant, but they didn't announce themselves. They just kicked his door in. All based on the word of a drug addict.

"According to the family attorney’s account, Hooks was asleep when armed deputies arrived at his house at 1184 Ga. 319 just before 11 p.m. Sept. 24. His wife, Teresa, was upstairs in her craft room when she heard a car drive fast up the driveway, and she looked out the window.

“She saw several men all in black and camo with hoods on,” Shook said. “She ran downstairs, woke David and said, ‘The burglars are back.’ ”

Hooks retrieved a gun and headed out of the bedroom as the officers broke down the back door, Shook said. He said Hooks was not wounded at the door but behind a wall in his house.

“They may have seen him with a weapon, but it appears at that point in time it was chaos,” Shook said. “They were shooting everywhere. There’s a lot more to it than law enforcement has reported.”

Hooks was basically a man just doing what we'd all do. Defending his home and family. Unfortunately for him it wasn't burglars. It was out of control police.

  18. The threads going quite Well actually.

  19. I honestly don't care what happened.

Race isn't an issue unless you make it one.

All these riots are just ********, does anybody even care that he was shot? Very few. Last night as they were stealing and pillaging they stole alot of items, electronics clothes shoes school cigarettes however not a single pair of work boots were stolen. And Barnes n noble sat between two other buildings which are now burnt down and have been stolen from.. But Barnes

  20. Well Larry, that's kind of my point about you. You don't know all the facts either. No one does. But you've rushed to judge Wilson to be a hero and Brown to be a thug. And the reason we're in this predicament is because cops keep shooting unarmed people, both white and black.

You're also rushing to judge me. I'm white and I don't think all cops are racist trash. I just think we have a problem with cops and the use of deadly force in this country.
