I doubt this is true - devs wouldn't take rewards earned. They dumb - not that dumb.

Personally I've seen devs change names w/o permission (ex I knew a guy name fat... and they changed his name to rotund illegitimate child). I think the devs would give 20 nobs to change names, a deadline to change names and if someone doesn't change the name then they would change it for them.
