It is random, I think it's 0.275% last I knew, but it's random so I am not entirely sure.

Also Die_Hard_Metal spreading false information is against the ToU so be careful where you tread

Read in forum? 'S possible xtal drops in #3 quests but had 10000 quests?

 

This is currently the accepted drop rate for quest nob. 2 nob per 10,000 successful quests.

Anyone is welcome to test it to confirm.
