We were going to wait like 3-4 years, not because of the whole finance situation buts its a lot for me to take in.

I'd say that's wise, not only because of finances, but because, you know, the whole "deployment" thing. In RTC, we were given the advice "wait til you're done with one deployment, make sure you're both still there".

Yea, deployments are hard which is another reason we are waiting because he only wants to do 1 enlistment. So 3-4 years he will be almost out and we will have saved enough by then that we can be ok (mind you, not great but ok) for a bit while he gets a new job and I get finished with college.

 

Did you think about benefits from the military? Dick head.
