  1. If it hasn't been mentioned before; hit windows, hit windows, hit windows. The gap needs to be narrowed on what size builds can hit each other. 25m cs shouldn't be able to hit 5m cs. At that point it is a very one sided battle.

  3. Also in PvP, true strength should be used to factor plunder, bfe BFA and cs. If static stats from BFE and towers count, why not the static from BFA? Always amazed me how ridiculous that was.
     
  4. Exactly! BFA is one of the things that make SH and SSH so powerful yet it isn't counted in plunder calculations? Honestly what is to stop them dropping all of their equipment when warring so that they pay even worse and get even better plunder?

    Many thanks for creating this thread. By far the most constructive, well written thread on the dissatisfaction with this game many players currently feel, including myself.

    With regard to the issues at hand, I fully support the list given by AJ. Great summary of concerns that.

    I'm not a big spender by any means, but until the time this game has received the large overhaul it so much needs (and deserves), I will not spend another dollar on it.

    I sincerely hope this effort by you achieves the desired effect.

  9. Players: So much can be done to improve the game, we come up with ideas even.

    Apes: when should we have our next event to generate more income and let's do maybe one of the things that the players suggested to calm them down.

    Hope the apes listen before Kaw becomes like fc or gaw
     
  10. After reading the whole thread, saw some good ideas,bad ones, but here goes my humble imput.

    1- A vital thing to enhance. A new tutorial is in demand, i know isnt easy to do but it's needed for sure, more than anything. Some rewards for loyaty, other than the badge, like log in rewards etc. Advertisement is allways good, but if people download it and can't understand how it works its pointless. New players don't need free lands, they need to understand the basics. And please give them max plunder for a week or so, till they are able to keep an ally. Pointin that out in the tutorial is also fundamental.

    2 - Ally market...honestly the effort it takes to find a good ally compared to the time youll be able to keep it its huge. Bigger players will allways have more money and hire them, even if you try to protect them by force...good luck because the hitting range will destroy you. With all the new equip and buildings BFA isnt appealing unless you have nothing else to do. It used to be a great way to make funds if you invested some time into it. Now eveyone is overpriced and the ones that arent the ally hoarders have them or will have them very soon. I thought about other things you could gain by having them, like percentage bonus, or more plunder from ebs based on a tier system, but the time that would take to implement that would not be worth it.

    3 - every game has a gap, based on time played or money spent, that will allways exist and doesnt concern me. Tightening the hitting ranges will solve that and a lot more of your next points. Because i know I'm a determined size, i know why and i accept that people that spend more and palyed for a long amount of time will be bigger or have nicer equip etc. I just dont expect getting smashed by the final boss of an rpg after 1 hour of playing. :D

    New buildings are allways needed for those that need the feeling to be progrssing, but a carefull timing is demanded. If the hitting range was addressed nobody would complain about new tiers etc.

    4 - I believe strongly that pvp should pay better than majority of the ebs. Don't startg cursing at me, in any game higher the risk higher the reward. EBs are a safe path for funds, hitting others isn't. So PvP plunder should be higher. Hitting range fixed will prevent possible exploits or people complaining that smalls amke more from them, when i say small its a lot small and not a couple M cs difference.

    5 - wars....only mith justifies doing them or the fresh air they provide. Honestly i'd rather see you work in new players, hitting ranges than this first. Indi are a lottery but doable.

    6 - Only after the rest is fixed you shoud look into S5, people were upset with "normal" kaw and EE kept they around. disregarding that would be foolish. Think carefully in the rewards of a long time investment compared to this 2 weeks events. They need to be worth doing, reward wise. If that isnt a priority at least make the "mith" war xtals come to life. Sure it wont be what they were before but being able to them "cheaper" to people wont get the backlash the others seasons did. I'd rather wait for a well done S5 than another overhaul of past seasons.

    7 - Hit Ranges....the real problem, as i mentioned above. THIS IS THE REAL ISSUE, that makes the majority of problems in kaw appear. Make them a lot smaller.

    One of the major issues starters in kaw the infamous hoarders...If the ranges are smaller that would disappear.

    Unfair to big guys? well, you already make more money from other ebs, the time it takes for a smaller guy to make the same amount of gold is huge. Bigs can leave with that i think.

    Sure but those mids you can strip, you can hit. The amount of gold a small can generate isnt enough to disrupt the market like the bigs do. They would be sacrifing cs for allies, cs you cant take allies you can. Give it a thought, isnt actually a bad idea eh?

    As i said before, starting a game and being smashed by the final boss after a couple of hours is not fair, is not acceptable, its just stupid...this coming for a persont that enjoys the pain of playing that lovely rpg that kills you every 5 minutes...more than 3 controlers destroyed so far lol.

    Its the normal and expected thing to happen. You fight around your size, if you go for BFA or boosted equip you should know the repercutions of it.

    8 - This honestly is up to you, players allways love to talk to devs give their imput. Some devs do some dont. But all games have a support system, some work other dont. Improving this, is what separates some games from others, is what make some gaves endure and others disappear. You know what you want for KAW (i hope) and should be able to identify the benefits of improving and keep listening to the community etc.

    9 - P2W during events...this will always happen. The thing is that in KAW this is top heavy and not wide spread. Making reward tiers based on size is the right thing to do.

    Sure, but you wont see the shiny equip just on top lb, everyone in kaw would be able to get it. Becaus plunder and ebs arent the same, bigs have the advantage. Giving a new player the chance or dream to be able to do it, is what keeps people into a game. Again hitting range would help this during pvp events and PvE events, would still eb encouraging to be joined because of the tier rewards based on cs.

    10 - Revamp the other ebs a little not haunt, and they are fine. You wanna pay and grow fast? go ahead nothing stops you. If people want them do them, but making them a necessity for growth is the wrong thing. They have their place, they just dont need to be vital for the game. Bigs have the top tier ebs which are good money, smalls dont have that luxury.

    11 - Clan Overhaul...yes this is needed. Rewards for loyalty, clan bank, and other roles are in demand, this is a fact and more important than peope think.

    What makes kaw a game is the social part period. Majority of people wouldnt play this game without the social part. Any improvement on the social interaction is a plus. "Online status" is a thing lots of people treasure, the seek for things they dont have in real life, the false sense of power. Make co.owner, make head admin features. ANYTHING YOU MAKE TO UPGRADE A CLAN AND HIS SOCIAL FEATURES ITS A WIN SITUATION!!!!.

    12 - Clans pop more than corn in a movie theater. Make them expensive, this will make people commit to them. For that to be justified the new features should be implemented into clans. Starter clans are a viable way to not do a tutorial. Make new folks gather in a starter clan and only leave after a set time frame. Plenty of people around that would like to help. Save the money friom a new tutorial ;)

    13 - This exists in every game, isnt exclusive to KaW. A strong hand in these matter makes people feel safe investing in a game. You can do the math...

    14 . this poin made me laugh...block them!!! It's as easy as this. Just open their profile and block them. If they harrass you in 3rd party apps...well thats not kaw proble, and i know it allways starts in a 3rd party app.

    People please stop saying that someone hitting you is harrassment...i do love some foolishness...but thats too much even for me. Again fixing hitting ranges would some this "harrassment" of bigger players keeping smalls pinned and unable to play kaw. The extortion days would be over. Because if they are the same size they can fight back. Now if you saying its harrassment the words they use? block them. They harrass and bully in forums? Ignore them.

    If you realise this is an online game...yiu shouldnt be posting that stuff at start...private life...keep it to yourself!!!!! Dont like their words? they derailing your thread? ask them to leave!!! Keep your life to yourself!!! PERIOD.

    So only the forum constant thread derailers need to be banned more frequently and not warned ove rand over again. oh and please...USE THE BLOCK BUTTON!!!!

    15 - Free stuff.....you can add nobs or xtals as reward when you get an new badge or when you achieved a loyalt activity mark. Easy to do and a staple in many other games. People would like it and you wont be bankrupt by showing your appreciation to people more often.

    16 -Mods...some are biased, some arent, some do it for the love of the game, some do it becaus eof the status and the green bling. Mods reflect ATA imo, but still they arent paid to do their job, They know what they signed in to when they accepted the job. If you can't commit to it, real life isnt allowing you to perform your duties like you would like? Then quit moderatorship like i did. If you commit to it, try to do your best, preserve some integrity. Mods are people, people forget, but beeing one requires some traits that ATA i think searchs for- If you think you can be a good one? Apply. If you just love to troll and rage well....try to learn constructive criticism.

    The hit range is the biggest issue.
    Great post.
    Chaos's new low lands ( with low stats extra plunder mainly affecting smalls to mids ) solve a huge amount of the issues in the game

    The next being allies and that will come through player retention or extra static allies with capped values added by devs to increase supply above demand allowing all new players and old the opportunity to have allies. Such allies should refund 100% of plunder as it would be a dev controlled reset. Set the cap at 1 billion easy target for new players, and no real use to those volleying allies.

  15. And by contribution, do you mean abusing the glitch few years back? Lol I abused it too but unlike the mods who used it at the same time as me, I lost more than I gained during the glitch. How many 'chances' do mods get for their 'contributions'?? Kaw_admin basically discredits their own statements from the past - mods don't get special treatment, they are players just like the rest. Bs. Same applies to lb. no wonder daily revenue of kaw is drastically lower than of similar games..

    This is by far the most edited thread. Censor watch is ridiculous. I see posts that devs won't like for obvious reasons and 5 min later those posts are gone and players gets forum ban. Drop ur bs of equal playing field and such - the corruption in this tap tap game could compete with one in some third world country!
     
  16. There are a few things id like to offer my input on.

    Give new players the ability to actually begin with a build. Build tokens would be a possibility.

    New clans fail for many reasons, one particular is due to players growing faster than the clan as a whole. As soon as a player can hit a better paying eb they will leave while the clan is running smaller ones so they can recruit new players. The cycle continues and the clan doesnt grow. Just the members at different paces.

    We can fix that by letting new players start with enough stats that these clans arent stuck running warbeast all day long.

    Stop releasing tower upgrades. That would help bring back the importance that allies give for static stats. Especially static defense.

    The higher the tier, the less the stats. Its that easy.

    And for god sakes, stop releasing tier up grades for towers.

    Main problem, as has been stated by the devs in the past, is the system cant tell the difference from if the attacks have come from the battle list or from selecting a player from there profile and attacking them.

    Possible solution.
    When entering the battle list have an automatic spell/icon activate. While active the hits will be recorded as a battle list action.

    The spell deactivates if you leave the profile page of the person you selected from the battle list. It will only reactivate if you re-enter the battle list from the home page again.

    This would open up so many possibilities.
    -new achievements
    -specialty armours
    -battle list specific rewards
    -ect..

    No idea

    Base it off the persons defense.

    I dont mind if someone five times my size hits me as long as either there troop or spy defense is weak enough for me to(with pots and mith) get threw atleast one of the two.

    As of now, people can freely hit me and they have no available weakness for me to counter.

    And i dont mean they should be easy to get threw, just enough chance to get some successful hit in somehow.

    I liked the last event. Sadly i didnt participate in the pvp event because if you didnt fully commit to it, you probably would have earned less then you could have by just hitting ebs when you had some free time.

    Pvp events also seem to be mostly about how long you can hit from pin. And finding smaller players to torture.

    Decrease the drop rates based on how much smaller the player is that you are attacking.

    Dont increase or decrease the plunder. Just add more health to the phases.

    Warbeast sucks for smalls cause it only takes a few mid sized builds to wipe out the eb in minutes.

    A bulletin board only viewable and postable by members.

    Sometimes there are topics that people need time to see and respond to. Or they just need to reference for private clan matters.

    This app is driven by its social aspect but most of us are using third party apps to communicate on. Well... Atleast you're making these third party apps successful by handing them a free base of customers.
    Should a clan cost less than a building/upgrade?

    They are so cheap that people are more willing to just abandon them then to continue to put the effort into making them successful.
    you know what the problem is. This is your fault. Your players have handed you undeniable evidence but you refuse to act, unless they accused is a less than whale of a spender.

    I dont know. People are idiots and you cant fix that.

    Most victims stupidly hand out personal information.
    I dont care about free stuff.

    Some mods just want to fairly enforce rules but still be able to peacefully play the game, not all of them are pvp/osw orientated players but they can have all that taken from them by silencing someone from a osw clan.

    Then you have the pvp/osw type mods. If they silence a leader/member of their alliance, then they have to possibility of being labeled a traitor.

    Sucky situation, sucky task, sucky crybabies they deal with, sucky way to have to be put on the spot about an action you have to take.... Sucks to be them.


    With all this said in response to kaw admins post, i just want to point out that im just suggesting ideas. I know some wont work, but thats not the point. Im just throwing out some ideas to possibly work off of.

  18. Yes it's nice to talk about improving mechs and keeping game fun, but would you still have the wish to do so after years of seeing how biased and corrupted this game is? The evidence of devs catering to the 'VIP' group is overwhelming. Back in 2010-2012 we still tried to suggest some positive changes but as for me - I'm over it now. And I know it's not just my opinion.

    Here's the example for you to think about:
    Look up mommabear. See the order of her achievement badges. I inquired about getting my badges switched to show the pvp ones first. Such as 50k steal badge, maybe my sw12 badge. Had no reply. I know a few who asked how did mommabear get her badges adjusted but no one received the answer. And don't forget, we are talking about a player who had a whole thread dedicated to her about her ban for botting lol equal treatment my ass.

    Another example would be a player called heywtf and his then Kaw gf meisha (the mod) who abused the building glitches and later reported it to devs. In exchange for snitching they got to keep their builds and some allies they bought for exploited gold. The stories like that are everywhere. People get banned just because dev's feedback being spammed with reports, yet they won't ban lb based on legit evidence of their cheating.

    I ones was accused of sharing accounts in forums. By mod. I authorized devs to look into ANY history of said accounts to see that the accusations were baseless. I told them that I will provide ANY information or access they may need to clear my name. After endless emails with support back and forth, the only thing I got was 'we will look into it and will take appropriate actions'. Knowing that accusing someone without evidence is a silencable offense, as well as knowing that I did no such thing, I expected that mod to be punished and thread removed/edited. Nothing was done. As a matter of fact that thread wasn't even locked and can still be found in forums.

    I understand this is not the voice that matters to you, or rather not the opinion you'd like to hear, just like smokey's but it's a reasonable concern and evidence of what we are trying to deliver to you guys - to make this game better and to help it from dying you need to start treating players equally and if devs choose to make 'exception' for one, they can't expect us to not feel as if the rest is treated like second class members of kawmunity. I used to tell people how cool this game was and brought quite a few new players to Kaw who ended up spending impressive amount of money in this game. No more

    The only reason I still play this game is certain group of people who manages to keep it fun regardless of this disgusting devs bs. But everyone has their limit and people keep leaving this game because of it. Some day it will get to the point of when nothing is left to open Kaw app again. I'd like to know the statistics of the period in which accounts remain active - compare 2010-2012 to 2012-2014. I'm sure it'll give you an idea that as soon as newer players see how corrupted devs are, they no longer want to spend money and quit faster than players did in say 2011.
