Where were the errors? I read through it again, but all I found was a sentence fragment that I need to fix.
I tried rethinking using the mall as the safehouse, but it really is the most logical choice. The best places to fortify during a zombie apocalypse are a school, mall, or prison. (Or a Walmart would be good, but that would kind-of be advertising...) Schools have lots of windows, are big with lots of hard to barricade entrances, and don't have a very big variety of resources and supplies. Prisons are nice and safe, they can keep in plenty of dangerous people, so surely they can keep out a horde of brain-dead cannibals. However, they also have a small variety of usable resources. Malls really are the best way to go, because you can bar-off the stores, big ones have small jail cells that would be safest to sleep in, they have nearly every supply you will ever need or want. The down side is that they could be dangerous if it isn't wiped-out first, and they tend to be crowded. If the apocalypse is weeks-old, then most (living) people will have fled to find their families or died, so the malls should only have a few stragglers. There's a reason a mall was chosen for Dawn of the Dead and Dead Riding 2 also. They're not cliché, they're just logical.
Dead rising 2 bugs me. I hate that dumb medicine thing u have to get for ur daughter every day. It really takes away from the game
not really logical at all. the only logical place to go is as far away from people and civilization as possible. a center of commercial activity = zed fail.
@Morado You don't HAVE to get it, you'll just get more PP if you do (And more cash when you finish the game). She dies, chuck is sad, then he moves on and you carry on slaying zombies.
There is no way to get far away from civilization and people. They wander around aimlessly, and will eventually diffuse throughout the world just like any gas or liquid. Anyone would be better off staying somewhere fortified with all of the supplies they could ever need, then out in the middle of nowhere having to take dangerous trips into town every time they need something.
It's good! Some more detail would be good, though. What kind of rifle? An assault rifle like an AR-15 or SKS? A bolt action hunting rifle? It would add to the desperation close-quarters defense. Also, more description of the mall would be good. What kind of barriers or blockades would you set up? You're off to a good start, just a few tips.
