  1. Chapter 13: (Yumi)

I have to say, being a gunner isn't as bad as I thought. I have actually been enjoying it. But one day, as we were escorting convoys, american aircraft appeared and shot our plane down, while we shot them down. Frankie and I parachuted out of the plane and while Frankie seemed to have no trouble landing on an escort ship, I fell into the ocean but not before I detached my parachute. The american pilot landed somewhere about a 100 feet away from me. I noticed that he was coming towards me and at the last moment, took out a pistol and shot me three times; one in the chest, another on my leg and the last bullet landed on my stomach. The nearest escort vessel's bridge machine gun opened fire on the American before he could shoot me a fourth time. I didn't faint this time but I was losing a lot of blood. I swam to the nearest corvette that had scramble nets open. Once I was on the corvette, I was bandaged up. I passed out.

  2. Chapter 14: (Frankie)

I went and saw Yumi at the hospital and she had lost another 2/3 of her blood. At the same time, the blood reserves ran out again. I went back to the blood donation centre and gave 3/4 of my blood, which was given to Yumi. I now staggered more often, had blurry vision constantly and fainted a lot. I was later promoted to the rank of a General, but I don't think I would live to see the end of the war. Despite that thought, I fought on through and as a result, I did make it to the end of the war.

  3. Chapter 15: (Yumi)

I came out of the hospital again and saw Frankie at the trenches. I noticed that he was constantly staggering. I didn't even dare to ask how much blood he gave this time, but he told me anyways.

I felt a twinge of horror when I heard how much blood he had given. I needed to be more careful or Frankie might die trying to save me. By this time, I knew what to do. I captured an American soldier and killed him, then I took his blood and went to the blood donation centre with a bowl filled with the blood. Frankie recovered once that blood had been injected into him.

  4. Chapter 16: (Frankie)

I wish this war wasn't between US and Canada, because I have a friend in the US.On my previous patrol, an American cadet took his/her (I couldn't see the American's gender) shotgun and pointed it at me. That was the last thing I remember.

Next thing I knew, I woke up in the hospital and the person who shot me was on a bed too. Yumi had taken out her pistol and shot the American.

I was well enough to walk around by the third week in the hospital so I was discharged from the hospital.

Two more weeks later, the American had been interrogated. When he/she had refused to speak, our interrogation officers became frustrated.

  5. Chapter 17: (Yumi)

Our interrogation officers were getting frustrated and eventually gave up and told the American that if she joined the Canadian army, she would not be imprisoned. The American agreed. She was attached to my patrol. I think Frankie and the American recognized each other because of their reactions, but they said nothing during patrols.

One night, while I was patrolling alone, I heard rustling behind me. I look around and only saw bushes, but I knew what someone was trying to do. I raised my pistol and started firing at the bushes. Right after my sixth shot, I heard a scream. I walked towards where the scream came from and suddenly, I felt a sharp pain on my back. I then felt something hard hit the back of my head and I fainted.

I woke up in the American trench, chained to the trench wall and whips on the other wall. I knew what was coming. I was a lieutenant and I knew a lot of the Canadian war plans.

My interrogation kept on for a week now. Blood ran freely from my wounds. By the third week, my vision was completely blurred and I was drifting in and out of consciousness. I was sure this was where my story would end, but it didn't.

  6. Chapter 18: (Frankie)

I began to have suspicions that the Americans had captured Yumi and I decided to "visit" the American trench. I was right. I carried Yumi back to the hospital. The American Canadian soldier was waiting for me when I got back and she look terrified when she saw Yumi's state. I guess it was normal because Yumi was hurt bad and even though I put bandages before bringing her back, nook soaked the bandages and flowed through them as if they weren't there.

Yumi was in a coma now because she had lost so much blood. The American, my friend, had been the one I was talking about. The American was Kiana. She and I now went on night patrols to catch any deserters.

But a month later, Kiana and I were both hit by an American shell. We were lucky to survive but Kiana also got a coma now. Now I had to patrol alone.

  7. Epilogue: (Frankie)

I was sent home because I was hit by a shell and this time hit me bad. I often wonder what happened to Yumi and Kiana. About a month later, the war ended with Canada victorious. Another two months later the government put up a monument in Vancouver with the names of the local people that went out to war and died. To my relief, Yumi was not among them. I still wonder what had happened to them.

    Epilogue: (Yumi)

After the war was over with our victory, I came out of my coma. I knew we could leave now but I didn't know where to go. I decided to stay in the army. But they said,"Only when there is a war, then you will remain here. Your rank will be kept and so will everyone's rank". So I headed to Kamloops and settled down there, living peacefully.

    Epilogue: (Kiana)

Even though the US lost, I didn't care anymore. I settled down in New Westminster and lived there since the war. I felt no regrets from the war. Canada was now the most powerful power, now that they had destroyed many of the US tanks and jets.

  8. Powerful country not powerful power

  9. Um chapters r SUPER SHORT

  10. Well I wrote them as best I could. Would u like me to put the entire story together instead of chapters?

  11. You are totally wrong, a world war 4 would only last 1 day and the elimination of almost all people on Earth. People would hurl antimatter bombs at each other, communication systems EMPed and then hit with a rocket, and ect. Of coarse this is the bright side of it. The dark side is that we'll have to fight with sticks and stones if world war three was devastating enough.

  12. Who said this story only lasted a day?
