  1. No disrespect to the Brits or Yanks, but 90% of the credit for defeating Germany goes to the Soviets.

  2. I agree with that. Britain gave the time, America gave the money and Russia gave the blood.

  3. V that was partly due to the basic operational units in the Luftwaffe and RAF being different sizes so each was consistent in faulty strength numbers

  4. True, but Germany couldn't win a war of attrition in the air.

  5. ...they also fell way behind in tank production and everything else, in the end they just ran low on resources

  6. Agreed and Stalingrad is widely regarded as the breaking point for the entire war

  7. This reminds me of a show called The Man in the High Castle. I think this show accurately represents what life would be like.

  8. Same...maybe its a mix of a Nat and a zebra??...amazing. (A Nat is what we call a mosquito in the UK)

  9. If you are going to make a dumb thread at least spell nazi right

  10. Unnecessarily

  11. Ummmm... It was not unnecessary. The US dropped the first bomb so they wouldn't have to do a large scale ground invasion and possibly cost millions of lives. They dropped the second bomb when even after the first one, Japan refused to surrender.

In a fun twist, check out Amazon's show they released called "Man in the High Castle". Premise is what life would be like if Nazi Germany and Japan won the war.

  12. LMAO this is the most ridiculous comments I ever read. Germany was basically a utopia, and the western world would undoubtedly be better if Germany had won. Even General Patton admitted this later on. Face it, the bad guys did win, and the crappy America we live in now is proof of that.

  13. Patton was anti-Semitic, that's why. Also what would he know about the world being better? Being a soldier was all he knew, war was all he knew.

  14. Utopia for who you small minded ignorant lackwit ??
The national socialists destroyed much of eastern and Central Europe they were directly responsible for millions of deaths and tens of millions of others indirectly.
Also how much later on ? Patton died before the end of 1945

  15. There was stuff in pattons diary about his feelings that America declared war on the wrong side.

  16. America didn't declare war on Germany.
The Germans declared war on the USA

  17. The bad guys won? So the good guys had ovens and gas chambers?...

  18. Hitlers breaking point was not taking the caucus oil fields, splitting half his army to take Stalingrad in a russian winter was brutal. The German forces weren't well equipped for the russian winter.

Hitlers tactics known as "blitzkrieg" we're great at shock and awe over small areas but over great large areas like the country of Russia was largely ineffective.

Another major mistake hitler made was to fight a war on two fronts on the east and west which ultimately was Disasterous also thinking Calais was the point which the allies would launch their offensive which in fact wasn't the point they landed despite thousands of troops landing in Normandy hitler still believed Calais was the point of invasion so he kept whole divisions at Calais for far to long and by the point when he moved them it was too late.

  19. Most German people hate/hated Hitler and the nazis. Germans will disown you for wanting Hitler to win...

    Anyway. What's a "Natzi"?
Please don't put me in a gas chamber, just a joke...
