World bosses for event

  1. Couldn't disagree more about a leaderboard for damage. It's very clear the people already on LB will likely have the highest damage (provided they participate). Give other accounts a chance to get on LB rather than having an LB that'll probably exactly the same as the current in game LB. It's about the whole game working together, not which BC accounts can have the most damage. That just 'alienates' (for lack of a better word) smaller players even more. Their mentality might be what's the point in participating if there's no chance to make LB :roll:

    An activity based LB on number of actions gives more people a chance. Yes the people who xtal the most will probably dominate there too but at least all accounts have the chance to make it.
     
  2. Ya but wouldnt the accounts doing the most damage,leading the way for their team to get that winning payout, deserve something. Like an account that did 20 mil damage total over the course of the eb, gets the same payout with no recognition as an account that did 100k?

    Id be cool with it either way. Was just an idea
     
  3. Wouldn't there be a 'history' like there is with wars and ebs? You could just include: told gold won, number of actions and total damage.

    Btw, why would an account who did 20mil damage get the same pay out as someone who did 100k damage? That wasn't my point at all.

  5. This would be great. If the devs want to make money maybe have bars where you must attack with nobs to get rid of it and get an extra large pay out. Teams competing would be cool to. I see it bringing every one together instead of separated.

    Sounds cool. I'd be down to murder a beast set on destroying all kingdoms.

    But then again some ppl want to watch it all burn. They seek tears. Sweet sorrow.
    Have a faction of shadow players that may opt into pvp with the sole purpose of shutting down the resistance.
    They worship the beast and welcome his judgement.

    If the battle fails (and each player opted into the shadow faction has amassed enough tears) they get their own rewards.
     
  7. Basing it on actions is fairer but it also doesn't promote growth. Just build a level 1 ice tree and level 1 elven temple then voila you have the ability to gain a lot more actions if you xtal.

    The fairest solution is to have 3 paths. Damage done, gold earned and number of actions. 2 out of 3 promote growth and 1 gives the most active of accounts a chance.

    Perhaps make it like the banner event we had not long that long ago. You get rewards from each path with tokens that are used to give you a final ranking and reward from the overall leaderboard.

  12. My critique of this idea is this:
    1, one of the reasons this game succeeds is because we can get pretty fast and constant rewards. If an eb lasted multiple days, it could get quite boring if all you do is hit it nonstop without seeing much of a different happening.

    2, how can you make an eb that lasts multiple days? The bigger clans can take out even the biggest eb in the game in a matter of a few hours. The only way I could see this happening is regardless of size, you always hit the same damage, similar to ambush. That way, the team with the most activity wins.

    3, What happens if you join the eb midway? Obviously not everyone can join in the beginning for various reasons. I'm guessing the solution would be to only count what they have contributed, but still seems like an issue.
     
  13. Just have it so that you deal damage to world boss aswell when you hit the clan eb? That way ata won't feel it in their pockets
     
  14. 1. We grind ebs all day for events anyway. Whats the difference? Youd be getting one massive payout and event rewards instead of a bunch of small rewards. And its just an event, not like it would be an everyday thing. Your in an hte clan, you grind the same eb all day lol

    2. No offense but this one was quite dumb :( its fairly easy from a programming stand point to add more hp to am eb...just create one with many phases and a crap ton of HP.

    3. This one is quite dumb also. The eb payout is based on actions like any eb..its no different than getting a late start on one of the current events. You will be a bit behind but plenty of time to catch up.


    So not really understanding any of your complaints, feels like reaching kinda lol
     
  15. Anything that stops hte from being hit won't happen, simple as that.

    Im not sure i get the point of faction play anyway. The lead never changes!
