There is no compulsion on any one to spend $. The devs have thought this is a fair price. Fair price is determined by the buyer (player) as well as the seller (devs). As long as players continue to support it, I don't think it's fair to call devs out on the pricing. And take a look at the wc updates, seems plenty of ppl spend $ for their clanmates.

You do realize it is the end of the year just before Xmas? Can't expect too extravagant an event.

 

Funny how the mods rush to the defense of the devs.

You're getting free stuff no matter what.

The 99 nob item is designed and used as a gift. Buy it for your clan to benefit the entire clan. Who cares if it gives you 10% or whatever. It's about being a gift. If you want to gift yourself continue to seal up and not open items. That's all.

 

if they could guarentee a high % plunder bonus for the person spending the nobs, the 99 nobs price would be reasonable considering the whole clan gets a boost too!
but at the moment it's a bit high when you spend 99 nobs and could only get 10%

 

Christmas is always expensive. Plus, you are feeding for 100 people.

 

So I suppose everyone that doesn't mind the event or spending 99 nobs to help their clannies grow is kissing dev butt.

Come on Froggie, you should know by now that if I don't agree with something or think something might be unfair for the KaWmmunity I usually have no problems speaking out against it, mod or not.

I will say that I think they need to get rid of every spell under 50% though. 10% especially. The gains from 10% is negligible at best.

And here is a $500 gift card for me. I only got you all $5 gift cards so I could get the $500 gift card.

That is the true spirit of Christmas...give as long as you get.

That being said I did wake up to the tail end of a 500% spell...DOH! Oh well, that's life and I am thankful for what I got.

I like the event...it's fun and that's the whole point of entertainment.

I personally think it's a good event. Free stuff for those that don't pay, the option to help an entire clan for those that do pay. All fun, no bs leader board.

What's not to like?
