Conceivably, you could wait until both troops and spies are at 10%, then xtal. Keep xtals for defense, like moose said. In addition, this is another reason why you need fresh hitmen: even if someone regens, you can still take him down if you're fast.
1) I'm pretty sure it was two. 2) It is not finalized. 3) I didn't imply that someone could sit there with a ton of xtals and keep using them. I simply meant to deny the knockout at the last minute, and still waste his opponents troops, he could burn it in the last possible seconds.
KaW admins thread stated that you get to use 2 Xtals. This may/may not change, depending on community feedback. As for saving your Xtals to prevent a knockout at the end of the war, that's pretty smart. Additionally, if you're being attacked and you're down to 10%, xtaling not only saves you from knock out, it makes you astonger than the people who just drained them selves hitting you, so you have a shot now at multiple knock outs your self
It seems wars return to the way they use to be and with huge plunder potential. Turtle wars became increasing common in the past year. System wars were a complete waist of time and funds with ridiculous tax which no one gets. I share your enthusiasm Moose and hope this returns the fun wars back to kaw. I asked a friend if she wanted to join us in Summer Wars. Her reply cracked me up. "I'd rather go to the dentist, osw only".
The incoming notifications can lag as much as 30 secs to over a minute. A good team will pin you in this time before you get any notifications at all. I wonder how this gap will be bridged by the devs. The lag times will make or break a strategy.
I am wondering if the hansel's loss from getting hit by troops worth the plunder they get from assassin and scouting? OR is regular defence tower now necessary for hansel build? (to slowing down the speed of troops getting pinned during the estoc war) I would appreciate it if some real hansels experienced the war could give some opinions.
