Ok I'll tell u the story how I remember it then. There was a general and a rich man both praying in a church. The rich man was standing up and the general was kneeling. The rich man was boasting and shouting that he was donating to the church and .... And the general was whisperibg begging for forgiveness. And the story ends with a small line saying that the general is closer to God than the rich man thinks he is

Science can't technically rule out Religion because it is all theories, though admittedly quite a few are widely regarded as fact. Different beliefs will always exist.
