If I read this reeeeeeaaaaaalllllllyyyyyy fast over and over the gradient looks like it's morphing into the next color. Such wow.
Profitability increasing enabling ATA to expand as a business, perhaps not in as rapid succession as earlier on, but profitability is still increasing.
Unfortunately the devs themselves ooenly reject people who want to war. They take the money from all international players but cater wars for only some. Hte was a negative impact on gameplay...devs then encouraged by ridiculous boring and wasted effort rubbish reward hunts. For so many...this is a growth app...when it should be a "war" app.
You will say that to every answer. KaW can make more money for the devs, how is it dying If ATA constantly updates it?
Ata have not done any update that meaningfully improved the game in a long time. They are shutting down games, releasing failed games. I would hardly call converting a game with potential to grow into a cash cow by milking suckers who pay to be spit in the face by devs (cue war times, war system, lack of pvp and ripoff hunt problems) as improving the game. Indeed...people used to complain about features, and some would pine for the good old days. You will always get that. However this year the tone has changed to people frequently challenging the games existence. We openly debate if and why its dying. The writing is on the wall.
I love this quote. This is your opinion, and I'm pretty certain it isn't shared by many. ATA has in fact, done a few updates lately that are (in my opinion) pretty decent.
In regards to the context of this thread, pvp is worse than it was back when all we did was pwar, so I believe he does have a valid point.
I want everyone to look at the big picture. So, EE, and EB's are viewed by the game makers as "warlike" events. They are events that yield rewards. Some players that enjoy PvP and OSW see that style of play as weak, and scoff at any improvement to that. My opinion is; if you add rewards and upgrades to PvP, not only will it be abused, but it will effectively chase off the EE/EB players that ATA has worked diligently to obtain. I'm pretty sure if anyone here had a multi-million dollar enterprise that is growing, you wouldn't drastically change the format to counteract all of the upgrades you've worked on in the past 2 years. Just a thought.
Ata isn't making you spend money, no one is only you are making that choice to spend. Every game offers ways for people to grow quick or get ahead by spending. Just because you're mummy found out you're putting money into kaw isn't devs fault...
While I do see your point I must also point out that with their current strategy they are further pushing away the ever diminishing minority of players who actually enjoy osw and pvp. I don't think anyone is suggesting that we should get rid of what they are doing right now, but I do feel as though they should start catering to both sides of the spectrum rather than the one that seems the most profitable.
Wolfie. I dont see any relevance in your post to the discussion. It would appear that you may have just enough grey matter to throw around mud blindly around. It would also appear you lack the intellect to engage in a disussion. Good luck with that.
But catering to one side takes away from the other. That's my point. There is no way to separate PVP from EB activity. ATA's system counts an attack an attack, a spy action as a spy action. Individualizing a PVP event would be abused by players with alts. I've never seen an idea that could work. But ATA did state they would update the PVP experience, I'm interested in what they wanted to do.
I'm sure most people like HTE, I don't mind it every once in a while, but what annoys me is HTE was meant to be a promo at first, then, since devs were making so much money, thy kept it. I reckon it should be a once a month promo that goes for 1 week.
