Why build T6 if will be reduced price next year again???

  1. You see...ToG...that was not the gap they had in mind. Not the gap that seperates the lower players from themselves. That gap is just fine with them. Its the gap that separates them from those who are bigger than themselves that they think the devs need to bridge.

  2. This is a horrible point, it makes no sense

  3. I don't post very often so forgive me if this goes horribly wrong...

In essence, this game is about sales right? You save up gold and buy buildings. Every other sales market operates the same way so why should KaW be different.

Imagine you want to buy the brand new Mk1 supadupaV8 car. It commands a premium. What happens to that model when the Mk2 supadupaV8 comes out? The price drops significantly because it's no longer the latest model.

Same thing is happening with KaW buildings. If you want the latest model expect to pay a premium. If you're happy to wait, you'll get them cheaper when they're no longer new.

    Hope that makes sense 

  4. The thing I hate most is the 'T4 only lost a few couple billion compared to t5's trillions'...

Scaling... There's a years difference of growing between these and now that HTE exists money is endless xD

  5. Just like everything else prices drop lol

I've played long enough that people I've trained make up the owners of about half my accounts and most of them but me when they've finished whatever the latest teir is

That said I'm small because I grow only on occasion, but it tends to be all at once

After my current war ends ill probably start another, but there's a 15% chance ill em up trying to grow and ill take advantage of this, as an old player

It helps us Pvp players grow, because while we get no refund on any of it normally. We do have more land to build stuff on In the future and prices will be cheaper so it's good

  6. I thought everyone wanted to close the gaping gap between players?
Everyone can't be refunded. We all enjoyed the the benefits of being bigger .
My thing is, ally's . The more players build, the more ally's will become less roadblocked from LB.
I'm all for letting the new players base grow. It's the only way for epic wars, to be able to grow and become fun agen.
Too many flaws in the ee wars. If more play, we can maybe have more options on rosters. Gh / Sh have to be stopped

  7. By that logic you should never buy a computer because next year it will be cheaper. . . . but if you do so, you also don't get to use that new comptuer for the year.

Its a simple concept. What is the cost to you of foregoing upgrades? Less plunder over the long run on eb/osw/ee/battle list. Is the money you save later, going to be more than the cost to upgrade now with the increased plunder?

  8. To those of you comparing the "cost" of imaginary buildings in imaginary lands to computers and cars I'd like to ask: what market forces are at work here? A car goes down in value after it's purchase because of a perceived loss in value ("it's no longer 'new'") and wear and tear on the vehicle due to its use. A computer goes down in value because it's performance will be noticeably inferior to newer models over time.

Neither of those hold true for KAW buildings - regardless of their "price" or tier. The value of KAW buildings is set by the developers. As they just proved they can change them at a moments notice.

It's a fallacy to believe that this is anything other than a poorly planned and poorly implemented decision by ATA.

  9. We exerts effforts, waste our money and time to build those expensive t5 and now theres a big drop on price :(

  10. This did annoy me if its to open the gap well I'm still small and I have a few T5.

  11. @diabolic. The analogy of laptops seems to work very well actually. The newer laptops cost more because of greater performance, technology, ect. while the lesser goes down in price. Its easy to describe T5 buildings as the lesser buildings while T6 is the "better performing/better technology."

  12. Actually laptops are a bad comparison ... And here's why

Ur old laptop is now outdated yes? Slower less fancy then wats replacing it (same for cars tv's any electronics in general)

T5 wasn't ... It's the largest building allowed on hl and devs didn't replace the buildings with a new model u still have to own and use t5 every action

They devalued the current best thing u can own in it's area

  13. Laptops are a good example because if my laptop were slower or not is irrelavent due to use. I could find my same model in a store for the decreased price while the newer model would be more expensive, possibly having a comparable price tag as what the previous model had before its price was lowered

  14. T5 is still relevant!!! do I still need to own them to be hfbc? Yes!!!

  15. U buy the new laptop u no longer need the old one

  16. I never said t5 was not relavent. For what the analogy is used for it does well. All it say is that things like this happen in business.

  17. If you are HLBC idk why you would be complaining.

  18. I'm not really carting about the price troop just the devaluation of a current commodity and the really bad comparisons people put on the situation

  19. Its not bad for what it says. There is no such thing as a perfect analogy. And by the way. You don't necessarily discard the older model because you may have bought the older model right?
