  1. You do know its all fictional right.
And I'd advertise the site but its against tou. But supermans full comic powers list is mental.
Ranging from telepathy to telekenisis to anything the writers wanted for the story.
He's only been toned down recently for a more entertaining read.
Maj. Hulk ages at a normal rate. Superman ages at a slower rate. Well the character anyway. So even the waiting game favours supes.
Hulk gets lobotomised by supes from orbit without ever seeing the beams from his eyes.

Or of course supes could do his new stupid blow himself up like a nuke destroy him with the power of the sun and then take 24 hours to recharge during which black widow can kick his butt for killing her bf.
my money is on supes from orbit though
Though I don't want to be in the city they fight in whatever. They both are dangerous on the go.

  2. In The End when Thanos absorbs the Heart of the Universe he blasts Hulk directly. Hulk withstands it.

Thanos blasted Hulk with the Infinity Gauntlet. Hulk withstood it and continued fighting. Thanos then teleported Hulk to Earth where Hulk just continued fighting Abomination.

Hulk took Silver Surfers full cosmic blasts to the face then beat him and went on to fight Galactus. The second time this happened he just beat Silver Surfer.

Hulk took Gladiators blast straight to his chest. It went through to his heart. He only walked into it and eventually slapped the energy beam away and proceeding to embarrass Gladiator, who is in every way Marvels Superman equalvilent.

Hulk isn't worried about Superman nowadays. Hulk is power incarnate. Also ALL of Hulks senses increase with his power.

  3. You seem to be ignoring that Hulk has accelerated healing also. That and he's survived Nukes to the face and the power of 100000 exploding suns against him in Sentry.

    Modern Hulk destroys modern Superman.

  4. Hulk smash puny superman

  5. I'm sorry to say only just yesterday I kicked both their asses for trying to cheat at poker️

  6. You do understand that this whole thread is based on fiction right? Don't make yourself look like an idiot, please.

Let meet put it in simpler terms for you. If I wrote a story right now about hulk that had him rip superman appear and eat him as a light dinner then tried to reference that and it stand up to a credibility test? No, but if I referenced stories from the comic books which the owner/creator made those would be credible. Understand?

  7. I believe it was me that told you it was based on fiction. As you just quoted me saying that, you should know that.
But anyway. This is a fun thread with little meaning unlike others.
Any argument can be used and any view supported. The reality is there is never going to be a true scenario.
But basing a hypothesis upon previous character development and stories does provide the opportunity for a variety of diverse opinions.
They are both stupidly over powered in comics and films.
One falls to kryptonite. The other to a guy in a tin can and to his gamma radiation being drained. That said. Draining his gamma radiation would require tech and intellect. As such I change my vote to batman or tin can. The only dc and marvel characters to have both attributes.
Ps hulk withstands energy attacks and regens fast. Same as supes. But only one ages slower. They are also both vulnerable to magic ( shhhh that's also fictional ) and space warping abilities.
So enjoy the merry go round

  8. Unless hulk got some kryptonite handy superman would win

  9. The Thing kicked his ass a couple of times

  10. Two words hulk smash!

  11. On a side note, how the hell do they even try to match Batman against Superman? Seriously? Batman git whopped bad.

  12. I have to concede this debate has been amusing.
With both fictional characters powers listed and clearly argued for and against.
The popularity is obvious and who amongst us hasn't shown interest in The movies?

    So the question is.
Can there be a definitive answer?
Can there be a clear winner.
And if so who and why?

The answer was actually staring us all right in the face.
I would love to just say I was right. But I was. And I wasn't.
And that's the way the comics characters are written.
They are both the toughest of their universes. And to rival them would be to damage and enhance both characters.
Hence why the comic crossovers have been a 1/1 and draws.

The first things to consider are this.
Superman is super strong and has multiple assets at his disposal from the get go.
Hulk has the edge of pure rage making him stronger. Each blow against him strengthens him.

The failings. Hulk is weaker at the start of a fight. And supes can be worn down in a sustained onslaught.

    So to simply put it.
If superman goes into the fight full tilt intending to win from the outset, he will.
If the fight gets drawn out for whatever reason hulk wins.

So the only question which is down to the writers is how and why they fight. How long does the fight last?

And that's the way they are written.
It's how the most powerful comic characters can be given a weakness and a strength.

Credit to Marvel and DC Writer Peter David for his posts and clarity explaining his writing beliefs on the characters strengths and weaknesses.

It was actually fun looking up this info with my son as a distraction to more serious issues. He is a young fan of both so thanks for the laughs

And yup out of the two. Supes for the instant ko 

  13. Superman, because hulk would run out of juice and get bored then he would revert back to Bruce B. Then superman could punt him to aandromeda.

  14. If all comes to a end super man can run from the hulk the hulk can't run from superman lol

  15. Pre-Crisis Superman beats that eras Hulk.

Post-Crisis Superman gets beaten by Modern era Hulk.

That is the fairest way to say it.

If you disagree you can actually cite resources. I read the comics and will agree/disagree accordingly.

  16. I thought superman can only be killed by that rock, so unless hulk has it superman wins?

  17. Dmc read - hero envy hulk vs supes.
It has the writers and comic by comic breakdown of their powers and the crossovers.
I think it's fair that I feel the writer who worked on both should get the ultimate say. But what would I know
    But it's worth a read. 

  18. I would win
