One would be hard pressed to find out who are the oldest active/semi-active players are I think. I honestly remember a strange quirk on start dates in '09. I was told that even though you downloaded the game at a certain time, you wouldn't be recognized as a player until your first forum post and thereafter, that would be your start date. I remember folk from those days but there are so few left now. The first forum clan was White Knights if not Invalice Alliance. The first dev clans were Foxes and iG. Both have 120 member slots. There were 3 wars between Foxes and iG with iG winning the last one. But to be honest, the fighting never really ended until summer '10.
