Spiderman was just in the right and wrong place at the right and wrong time. He's a weird half-beast! A poor imitation of a centaur. Ironman is the only one who uses his brain. And he is hawt.
dc will always be inferior to marvel. btw, i have spent hours trying to answer op's question. too many choices. i'm going to go with cyclops. because jean grey AND emma frost.
Word, I like you. But you're wrong. Better characters, better art, better stories. And that's just Batman.
Take the most obv DC character: Superman. He is too much. I cant empathize with him. He is super good looking, super powerful, super moral, super kind, super brave. I mean, the bro can literally fly into the sun. Yuck. Give me a flawed character that struggles with some great inner darkness and is perfectly incomplete.
what better characters? the art varies from artist to artist, for both dc and marvel. neither universe as a monopoly on good artists. better stories? batman is the ONLY decent story from dc. its about a rich kid who bought a bunch of neat toys after his parents died.
I would of went with black widow. She hulk looks to much for me I want to still be living when it's done
Both marvel and DC have a multitude of great characters. Marvel had a more streamlined continuity as much of the groundwork was written by Stan Lee. As for best character tbh it's more about who is writing the books the punisher when Garth Ennis wrote it was dark grim and full of humour, same with his DC work. The mr blue mr green storyline in hulk was excellent. However some of my all time favourites are not marvel or DC Jenny Sparks and the authority are excellent books as where the later books in the StormWatch series
