I think there was some confusion between trumps Attorney gen nomination (Jeff Sessions) and supreme court nominations. As of yet I havent found any hits on google regarding supreme court nominations. I really need to learn how that process works, it seems only 3 justices changed per presidential term during g w bush and Obamas term. However Im very unsure if this is only because only 3 ended up being senate approved in both situations or if their are other factors. But yea, so far it doesn't seem that process for supreme justice has even begun. I havent even seen a list of possible names given. Could be in part due to many of his other nominations requiring senate approval are still ongoing.
What you said holds little relavence to the original comment. I havent paid attention to the website during previous elections so I cant say if its the norm for certain parts to be changed/removed after a fresh term begins. But, the general 'narrative of the media' plays a significantly larger role to the general persons perception of current events than some .gov website that most of us probably didnt even know existed until someone else pointed out that it was gone. Especially in persons with little education, who don't know a thing about sourcing information and then going to the painful extent of formulating their own opinions. Actually I take that back. Education really doesn't play that much of a factor anymore on peoples political views in a world where politics are so convoluted that a policy is more like an opinion to begin with - you can't teach common sense.
