I was driving down the FDR highway going to my office located at tower 2 87 Fl. I was a police officer at the time working for the NYS Tax Dept. I was near the Trade Center when I saw the second plane go straight into my floor. Needless to say I was lucky to be running late. I lost lots of coworkers and friends. The many memorials I went to will always stay in my mind, many families lost so much due to the cowers who killed innocent people for worthless ideals. God bless America and all who countries that fight terrorism.
It's shocking to know how many people over the many of years since it happened, they'll say anything. I mean we have these firemen, policemen, businessmen, etc. these people were there. They saw it happened and passed their stories down. Next there's people who claim its aliens or the Muslim empire, not the Al-Qaeda group. We also have these infamous video editors.... My point is this: 2001-2015, and not being able to see your mom, dad, brother, sister, grandparents? They passed away not because of a natural cause but, because of a terrorism attack? I would personally would still hold a grudge, knowing my personality. Although now, I feel remorse and sorrow. After moving of the United States, I hear all these stories, thinking, why would people go through so much trouble to tell a family, "look it wasn't the Al-Qaeda, it was Bush and his alliance with aliens!" Show some respect before you yourself get reckt.
Some would say trying to enlighten a person and opening their eyes to the truth (at least what they believe is the truth) could actually be showing more respect to them than you could ever understand.
I was making a hardcore farming run in diablo 2 when in game chat went crazy. Went out to the lobby chat and it was crazy too. Not believing it I turned on the TV and saw plane 2 hit.
This d00d on kaw I seen has his profile banner all offensive like: "My father passed away on 9/11 . . . . . . . . . his last words were . . . . . . . . . ALLAH AKBAR"
I was in music class, 7th grade. We all sat there and watched the news of it happening till they called a early dismissal. My mom came and picked my sister and I up.
My Brother was born 2 days post 9/11 I was at the hospital waiting on him to arrive playing Pokémon on my advance, when I saw it on CNN in the waiting room.
The selfish acts of few/ the selfless acts of many resulted in mass casualties of mostly innocent people. A truly sad event for humankind. No reason for anyone to mock or dissuade the facts. It was/is an event that changed the world.
Agree but many more tragic events rank above 9/11. Any heinous act by humans against humans r what keep us all from being harmonious as a planet. An ideal that is most hardest to achieve.
