It got the developers to step in, they didn't listen or reply to emails sent with reasonable responses. New Age stripped and farmed the mods, devs stepped in and listened. That's how the story goes
However u want to look at it. The devs did change the promo in response to what new age did. It worked and they changed to whole promo to benefit ppl that couldnt spend. Some ppl dont have any money at all to spend on this game. The devs should take that in mind when making promos. They have to a extent making u able to open 1 chest/stocking/whatever a day. I understand they make money hand over fist from sods and it is extremely smart of them to keep hte from a business standpoint(which is what KAW REALLY IS) BUbut as far a community devolpment goes. Pay to win is always the down fall if any game because it takes any skill or advantage away from the truly better players who understand the game.
What I see is this, kaw is multi faceted. If you want to play a certain then play that way. How can anyone cry about ANYTHING when all they have to do is push the damn buttons You want PVP-go hit someone You want structured PVP-go EE or SW You want to hit monsters for gold-go hit EB'S You want to spend loads of money to have huge arbitrary stats-go to the oracle and flash the card You want an OSW-go start one You want to be whooped on for a while-come at me The possibilities are all there, you just need to pick your poison and stop being babies about what the devs make or how they boost their profit margins and start playing YOUR game. Cause no matter what is going on in KAW you can always do what you want to do and NONE of those options require money......Erm except the one that requires money
