Actually I take a lot of breaks. That's why I'm not in a clan. I don't have time for KaW life the way one should KaW. I need to be able to come an go with no responsibility. I'm not very reliable, unless I find something I want to do on here. I get offers and have to say no, because I wouldn't be active enough. That neither here not there. No one cares what I do on here, or if I'm a hypocrite
I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but most violent video games are rated M for mature. If anything blame the parent for buying their child a violent video game. Also, that mission you talked about, the "No Russians" is like an introduction level to the campaign on MW2, which they allow you to skip if you're not comfortable playing that part.
The two girls didn't kill another girl. Although that sounds bad, the actual occurrence was much worse. The three girls were bestfriends. Two of them stabbed the third one like twenty something times and left her for dead, she survived though. I lost two friends in my childhood. One when I was 11. He was my bestfriend. Our brothers played baseball together when we we 3-4. So it was really one of the first friends I ever made outside my family. He was like a brother. We had every class together until middle school and then had half of our 6th grade classes together. As an 11 year old kid I was devastated. I lost the other when I was 16. It was a newer formed friendship. We became friends 2-3 years before his death, but I was at his house almost every day for a year or so. Again, a devastating loss. I had nothing to do with either loss and I was distraught over the losses. I can't imagine how any sane human could attempt to take the life of a friend. Especially in such a brutal manner as the two girls. Which is why I've formed this conclusion. Mass killings, school shootings, etc are not a matter of video game violence, gun control, etc. The problem is with mental health. America as a country need to do a better job of getting their children psychological help at the earliest signs of a problem. Columbine shooters were definitely psychotic. One of the kids were on antidepressants and quit. They were bullied their entire life on top of having depressed and violent mental issues. The sandy hook shooter and aurora Colorado shooters were lunatics as well. The only one I'm not sure about is the Virginia tech guy. I don't remember if he had mental issues or not. These two girls definitely have something wrong in the brain as well. No person in their right mind would try to kill a friend. Anyone who blames gun control, video games, movies, etc for mass killings is a complete moron.
It is a fact that violent video games are responsible for kids violent behavior. Ask Joe, he will tell ya...
After I bought gta for my 10 year old the next day he stole my money and stole my car and visited the local brothel .... So the answer is yes
No ... well it depends .. I've played all sorts of games from Rpg to role play and nothing has ever made more violent ...
Cite where you found this. Because I've never that before Video games don't make anyone more violent than they were before they played the game. I agree with Drgn's point, if they were raised right, there shouldn't be an issue
There's a rating on the game for a reason, obviously if you teach your child right then they will not misbehave.
@Monster, video games are addicting. They have addiction treatment centers for video gamers. Along with this addiction, comes addictive behaviors. Violence is one of those behaviors. Along with lying, cheating, neglection of responsibility, etc etc. Denial!! That is a big one along with enabling. Which would be your spouse or parents, and yourself concerning your addiction. You don't need a cited source. Go research it. The information is out there. Addiction articles and research is abundant.
Vice News has a series on gaming. It's based on Korean eSports. There is a episode about gaming addiction and rehabs. You can find the series on YouTube. Manually search it don't be lazy. I figure a series from Vice would appeal to you guys. Good luck. Educating yourself about addiction is wise. It comes in all shapes and sizes, and covers a broad range of activities.
