Ya so true Hatfield but with the high bfe it's putting us against top clans with huge bfa which I don't have lol. But I do understand and great points u made I just hope these devs listen
I agree with a lot of what has been posted here but then like some I have been asking for it for months. Nice to see kaw_admin answering honestly and looking into ideas suggested. Rewards are obviously adjustable with random drops 1 Eliminate vp eb except no match and purely refund losers cast mith far easier for clans to run with and no profit exploit 2 divisions for wars with no repeat matches same week unless essential stop making some clans non stop victims. 3 all raw stats used but ease algorithm to run divisions. 4 guild hansels just add a minimum attack value to every build and no exploit if a build exceeds minimum value it pays higher but making an ee value 50 mil (100 if double plunder idea used ) then all builds are more equal in war regardless of attempting to exploit and smaller genuine new players using small builds in war earn enough to make it worth their while warring. 5 voice chat in kaw would be awesome 6 Try a smaller window out of ko 2 minutes preferably 1 minute if you must do random times. Keep the improvements coming and lets hope they come fast enough to keep interest in wars.
Eh 2min window is nothing. Most people sit on someone for 2min if they got the other team pinned and its standard KO time. 5 min advantage r random gives a variable that keeps the war interesting. 4min would probably be good but anything less and it's not much of an advantage at all.
Devs. Why do you dislike GH..? You continue and continue to nerf GH. First stats, then hit ratio, then dts and dtw, now all 3. Please explain why. The people who complain about GH, really don't know what there talking about. It takes like, a month to make a hlbc GH account. Why don't these people make an alt, or reset stats! Why do they have to complain? Thanks.
HAT I think the community at large would wholeheartedly agree with you on this! Something relatively simple being made so difficult. Data can only show you so much at this point. From now on all posts by me on threads of this nature will say one thing until a functional system that doesn't change weeks to week is implemented KISS
In My Opinion @Kaw_admin , Season 1 was Fine, it was simple and quick. None of this complicated things, you guys are making it complicated when it's really something so simple. Just do s1 algorithm, with 1 hour and 2 hour wars, with the random and advantage ko, and especially 10 minute ko, but use s1 algorithm for matchmaking.
If CS will be a great determining factor, I would like to know the ratio of attack stats to spy stats. Example Player 1 5m/5m Att/def 1m/1m spyA/spyD Player 2 1m/1m Att/Def 5m/5m spyA/spyD Obviously these two players have identical combined stats. But will you be judging these guys as equal? That's my question Kaw_Admin. What is the equation to determine equal combined stats when dollar for dollar Attack builds and spy builds differ.
I love the quote of " they make look bigger but don't worry they probably can't hit you". Many of our wars they looked bigger. Oh and they hit us just fine all throughout the war with no problems. Same as we did to devils reborn. A Great War clan but no match for our size. We added to new accounts that couldn't hit it be hit so were outmatched by 5 by devil reborn and still won the war. By the way that was week 11 war 5. Somehow that wasn't in the problem wars. How can it be a good war being outmatched by 5 people and still not enough to make our side even use both xtals. Your not even close to getting it right with the hit %.
Kaw_admin: Will you consider disabling changing of bfa and name changes after EE war match up is completed? Very often players beef up their stats after match up by purchasing allies.
Devs as you have lock most variables to stop clans manipulating stats in match why no go the last step and lock internal ally trading? We know this happens a lot because player in war go up on the cr from the time of match up, to the time the war starts.
Im not a suck up or anything, but I do believe that the kaw devs have done an amazing job of actually addressing are wants and needs. So in that respect thank you, and keep it up we are never content
Again repeating multiple posts...hit ratio is garbage. If u war, u get hit, period. Think how it feels to attk an enemy, get DTW bs,

Totally agree with the majority tbh, how devs cannot see the fact I can't hit a build double my stats even with my bfe is unbelievable, bfe does not match up with raw stats iv spent my last 3/4 weeks smashing into towers!! If they look bigger then chances are they can hit u as much as they like then u return hits with majority fails. I for one would prefer season 1 algorithm over all this new crap caused more problems than resolved IMO
Hey devs since this is the only forum your answering questions on or paying attention to you lvl 2 T6 forum has 20 pages of real questions and we all understand math on match ups is hard if your abacus is broken but fixing stats or cost on new buildinga seems pretty easy maybe you can fix that....
Devs there is 1 thing that u guys still don't grasp. B/C there may be bigs on the other side that can't hit some on your side, that is completely irrelevant. They will not be touching the smalls anyway even if no dtw. They will focus on the bigs in your clan. That does not make the matchup better just b/c say a top 50 lb can only attk your top 5. Him sitting on your top 5 is his purpose anyway. B/c a huge guy can't hit some 5m cs in your clan does NOT make the matchup closer. The way you have stated it makes it seem like everything is great if you are up against an IMF b/c he can't plunder your gh's. Just b/c everyone in a clan can attempt actions against the other side doesn't make the match better. Plus u aren't addressing the biggest factor in wars---numbers. U give most of the good clans plus 3 and they aren't going to lose. I don't care what size the clan, give many clans 15 extra attk bars and 15 spy bars from the 3 extra people over 2 hours with xtals and they won't lose. There have been many solutions to this that seem easy to code. If 1 clan has 27 and the other 29, then kick out 2 randomly from the bigger size clan or allow admins to cast a veil over 2 players. Even numbers is a massive factor. Even better, if 1 clan is much larger allow them 1 extra player to even the match. Players have contributed many great ideas b/c they do these wars constantly. It's great that you guys try to work to make the game better but u are not listening to many of the really good ideas. We could instantly see this algorithm was allowing for a much wider variance on allowed matches. Everyone screamed count bfe so instead of just adding that, you reduced the impact of bfa on matchmaking. The most important factor in all ee wars are your top/lb/bfa players. They take the most fails. They neutralize guys that can hit anyone on the other side. They can sit full and take no incs the whole war. They will pull 6-8b each war if they are big lb. Worrying about middle guys with 8m cs vs 10m on the other side is irrelevant. The top is what impacts a war. Theres no difference b/t a 4m cs player and an 8m cs player in ee wars. Adding 1 untouchable though can swing the plunder score 25%. I've analyzed wars where I estimated 1 top 20 player against us had a 20b impact on the war. They neutralized our lbs. This allowed others there to not be sat on. It had a ripple effect all the way down, not counting that they pulled in 8b. I do an adjusted roster size when analyzing a war. I count a top 50 as 2 people if the other clan has no one near that size. If a clan has 3 lbs bigger than the other side then that's a 3 person advantage b4 actual numbers are counted. If they are at a numbers deficit anyway this becomes too much to overcome. /end ramble
Oh gee a whole week extra to attempt to fix the problems uve failed at for months. Why don't u fix one of the biggest issues, guild Hansels. You said in the past you would fix this crap yet your dtw dts system did absolutely nothing to help it. Fix your system and stop rewarding players for dropping their stats, really fair earning next to nothing on them while they earn tons off of me. Tired of ppl exploiting this crap the devs can't seem to comprehend to fix. In real warfare would a smaller weaker force be able to win vs one multiple times their size? Of course not, so why does your war game give such a large advantage to them? Again, fix this issue before you even think about releasing season two, but I guess t te hy dbl eb xtal money isn't lining ur pockets enough so u bring season 2 out regardless of the many problems that still exist. Try listening to your community.
And sylver have u been living under a rock? You actually think they've done an anywhere near decent job addressing our wants and needs? HAH! The same issuea persist as before with a slew of new ones from them "tweaking " things. The whole dts dtw system to help address the ghs was a total fail, things are worse then in season one.
You know whats funny? I bet that if the devs had just stuck with Season 1 mechanics, and instead of wasting months making things just worse than before, had they focused on fixing the Gh issue first instead i am almost positive so many more ppl would be happier about wars than now. How often do you see someone post, Why dont u just go back to how it was in season 1? Because all of this crap going on now, wasnt happening then, short of the guild hansel problem which seems like the devs just dont care, either that or truly dont understand how to fix or the problem. That and also the release of HF, if getting fair matchups is a problem, why on earth would u increase the stat gap weeks before the next season. Its like they are setting themselves up for failure, or are just too money hungry to make smart decisions, I guess they figured theyd make even more releasing new lands, double gold ebs, AND season 2. Dont you make enough yet? Had they addressed that issue first I honestly beleive many more ppl would of been satisfied with their progress, seeing SOMETHING actually being fixed, once and for all. Instead they have ignored it the whole time, while barely improving anything about matchups. So far the only response we have gotten from them regarding these issues is that they are working on something that "will be great" but unfortunatley cant go into detail, more secretive bs. I dont know about the rest of you, but I sure as hell am not taking their word on a fix for this being "great' given the track record. I really hope they do this time, but given the close proximity to season 2 now, and how much time has passed from season 1 and how little they've gotten done, I am not very hopeful
