It's about a war, politics has a direct impact on wars. Such as in Vietnam, politics caused you to lose the entire war.

While he was communist he had a love for many aspects of US politics and wanted to integrate those into Vietnam. He always worked for the US in ww2 providing intelligence against Japan.

It is true that America was useless in WW1, they used outdated tactics and were considered a joke by troops of other nations. In fact the only soldiers I can think of from America that excelled in the war were the Harlem Hellfighters and America didn't even allow them a frontline role because they were black, it wasn't until they were handed over to French command who weren't as racist that they were given an opportunity, and under French leadership they shined.

First ww your right but without our troops france wouldve lost pretty much leaving britain fighting a war by itself no denying it we arent the sole reason the allies won ww 1 but we helped Now second ww the only tide turning after the first 2 yrs was the german leader shooting himself in the foot and turning on the soviets ,britan was losing on all fronts france already gone without our resources britain wouldve fallen only when america got truly involved did we save europe and north africa among others im not boasting but all it takes is alittle research even churchhill stated and said that they needed americas help and would not have made it
Incorrect actually Sparta. Germany would've had to have starved Britain to invade our little island. That's pretty hard to do without air superiority (which they didn't have, despite numbers the RAF was superior in every respect) It's pretty hard to do without naval superiority (which they didn't have, the Royal Navy was still a force to be reckoned with. If you don't have either or both of those there was zero chance of invading Britain. MrH knew that, the shores of Dover would've ran red for years no matter how many troops he put to it. Whilst it's true his mistake was turning against Russia, he had achieved his revenge on the French. He could simply have waited a year or two and then offered Britain a deal, then turned to Russia. Whether Britain would've taken that deal or not, who knows?

To be fair, without any USA interaction at all, the axis would have beaten Britain, eventually. (By beaten I mean starved into submission / peace) however the British people are notoriously stubborn and unbending. though the people that trump that the USA 'saved' Europe etc always neglect to remember the HUGE financial profit the USA gained from ww2, it rebooted the American industrial scene and propelled them to superpower status, not including various territories taken from the British to help fund it, and the generous loans given to the uk it's considered that actually Britain got everything from the USA for FREE during war time, it was the rebuilding loans that paid for them. (only recently paid off- after 61 years)
There's actually several historians that argue that the empire would of invaded Europe by 1947 if they were fighting alone on their front.
