Ofcourse we wouldn't lol, but that's not the point, Scotland isn't its own sovereign country, therefore speaking about it like this is pointless. If it was, it could afford about 5k soldiers, no navy, no airforce and would have no nukes. Ofcourse some equipment and ships/aircraft would have to be given to the scots, but I doubt they'd be able to afford to man them.
Even if Scotland was a sovereign nation, the UK wouldn't allow it. They wouldn't allow their own doorstop to be turned into a war zone without good reason. Any American fleet sailing for Scotland would be intercepted by a Royal Navy ship knowing that the USA wouldn't dare fire upon them and any jet would be intercepted and escorted away from Scotland by a Eurofighter.

Whenever America collapses that is how it'll be remembered. They won't be remembered the way successful powers like the Romans and the British Empire are remembered.
