Only problem is that your news is so delayed that when it reports you have been hit, those hits occurred 30 sec to 2 or 3 min ago. Now add the time in that it takes you to report and your clannies will end up chasing ghosts. Its common in the present delayed kaw to join a war and run a full bar on someone before they even get notification that you hit them once. Real time communication is an assumption. It doesn't exist
If possible I would like a couple of my ideas mooted. I am not a massive fan of Sys war to begin with and to be honest my build tends to suit osw and my is really my preference. So I would like to suggest some ideas towards osw as opposed to Sys War. In order to make any such proposed changes put things below might help owners / admins New function Instead of marking if the member is a guest or perm etc should have a simple button that they can assign a status to that member to the clan. Perm - full benefits of clan Probation - time limit set before promotion to perm. Maybe 90% of clan benefits Guest or VIP if you are a perm to another clan u get full benefits else 80 % of clan benefits if not attached to clan. Rules 1. You can only be assigned to one clan. 2. If u choose to roam you can choose to not become a perm at anytime which will then inform owner. As a result u will become a guest of the clan that u are in and only receive 80% of the benefits. Also u must then wait a day before being allowed to be selected as a probation or perm . Also u will not be allowed to be assigned an owner or admin until that 24 hrs has ended. On the plus side u can instantly rejoin your home clan at any point without the need of an admin . If the clan is full then you will have to wait. The owner / admin in return can also end your perm status which again will invoke the same 24 hour cooling off period but for them they will not be allowed to make further perms until that time has lapsed. I'm hoping that this would make clan owners / admins think very carefully about who they make perm. 3. A running cumulative of how many clans u have been perm at with avg period of time. ( This helps the owner / admins in there decision process to make you perm) Owners New Function Clan Alliances Only the owner of each can can decide if they want to enter into an alliance. I think that this should be set to a maximum of eight. Again members of that alliance can freely move about without the need of an admin. Owners can choose at any to leave alliance but there will be a cooling off period and the leaver will not be able to enter into another alliance for 24 hrs. A display button to show current alliances ( maybe each owner with a comment or thought ? ) Hopefully I've covered status in a clan and alliances if I've missed anything my apologies but this is important for my proposed changes to OSW. The difference between a Sys War and an OSW is that in a Sys war it's controlled through mutual choice and as the devs said balanced where possible . Its not unheard of by using a sys war to forge an alliance. An OSW is gloves off no holds barred and two clear sides one clearly defined as the aggressor. Any way the reason for me giving members perm staus and clan alliances is very much geared for osw. Remember an osw there is no choice so Now a osw can only be entered if u r not in a Sys war. Ideas 1. Upon entering into one you do not then get to go into a Sys war end of . 2. Reduced Eb plunder on both sides. 3. Reduced damage to EB. 4. Reduced damage from outside clans, peeps etc . 5. Osw can be ended either the opposing clan/s or aggressor/s but through Agreed withdraw or Surrender 6. 48 hr restriction upon being able to enter into any war after leaving . 7. Freeze of making any new perms . Also all perms asked to immediately go back or no longer be a perm 8. Alliances have no choice but to enter ( with exception of those in a Sys war ) 9 perm members wanting to run lose perm status , 48 hours at half strength and marked as a runner and lose twi eb items . 10. 40 % clan back out or leave they clan leaves the war and face members not being allowed to leave or enter clan for 48 hrs , bonuses perm halved until they Ebs are re done , 30 % of each perms gold , banked through pots or allies is lost and transferred immediately to victors . An eb item from each member is lost . 11 allowed to buy myth 12 40 % plunder increase on attacks steals etc 13 removal of dtw by yes regen wait but also what about inflicting 1% damage each time upto a max of 30 %. Is some if it harsh ? Maybe but war is hell Finally allow clan membership to increase 120 slots ? Sorry for rambling on a bit but hope It's at least given food for thought.
I would also like to post an idea. Okay, so not many people have wars any more, right? And the way you tried to fix this was to bring in mith. That just caused Mwars and didn't really help... IMO, that is because you got rid of the gold being available to win. Warring is a costly business, a lot of your pots are burned. So first of all I would like gold to be brought back in as a reward, to the winning side of a war. Now onto the mithril. Mwars were invented as it is a fail proof way of getting mithril, correct? But what if real wars were a foolproof way of getting mith, too? I think this would be a step in the right direction at getting more people to participate in system wars. So this is what I propose. Two clans war each other. The winning team gets Estoc's Edge, Gold, and double mithril. The losing team however, gets mithril. not double Now of course, I know this could be abused. Very easily. Which is why I propose doing it only in the tournaments in which your opponent is chosen for you based on your size. Thanks for reading. I hope my idea isn't too bad :| . @ wil sorry haven't had that problem even with my phone service reporting is fast and easy. But the idea is for the weaker pinned player to get a break. If you earn less plunder or none hitting him you wil move on to next target yourself in search of higher plunder. It will encourage more active fights. Easiest way to win a war would be beat them down and keep them down. But be so boring for the losing clan no one would play. We need to encourage active fighting not trench warfare. It's a war game after all. We are here to fight not pin ourselves. @ PENGUIN Great idea about the estoc being on the player not clan. And removed when they leave the clan. love it. @ Devs that's one to definitely do. Best for all concerned. Clan , mercs the lot it would reward players for war and encourage players to move to warring clans rather than stay in total eb clans
Osw leave as is please other than maybe add recognition for being in one and surrender button for clan owners. Let them earn extra drops for being in osw too. Otherwise they are hurt by the rest of the deal. Just a thought. Osw recognition would be the only feature I would like to see. Good way too see which clans do the best at it without current recognition. No changes at all to warring in it 1day or a year it stays the same
Find a happy medium for XTALS. Say 3. Not just 1. You've finally fixed it so we can find open targets, but now we can only replenish our troops once ?? And give an Equip for LVL 5 Estoc. Say Estoc's Ring or something.
No rules for osw. Just a way to say which clan is in osw with another when one surrenders the winner gets drops. At the moment lots do osw which is great next to no recognition for it. So don't change any feature of it other than maybe bonus osw only drops and recognition. As I said a day or a year no rules same as now. You play till a clan surrender. Just a way to give the winner some kaw recognition for a well fought war and drops no other player can get. Just thought I'd chuck the idea out there while we are discussing wars. Scrap osw you'd have half of kaw quit overnight most probably.
i like Vontez idea of a plus minus realtime stats and the def pots make since alsoKaw faced the facts old war sytem is not working let it go war should be hand 2 hand strength vs strength strategy not smack a mole i also like spooks ideas of clan/owner more options a bit more refined thow not quite so much i have a twist on it say each clan can have a alliance bonus if u have sworn brothers clan that both owners agree thats gives ur clan a bonus of 10more slots per alliance to counter advantage ig/foxes have over everyone else. Mith was bad incentive for war especially when it goes up for sale in convient times??the biggest incitive in kaw is goldpeople want more of it and want to take more of there enemiesproblems with current war system to long bad pay pretty much waste of time.Heres my solutions take the tax off since we get no gold pay out why is there a tax ??????really an osw should not be more profitable than a syswar . Blitz wars say 4/6hr wars ...That u can unlimited regen by spending crystals/mith/gold/inferno/aqua lets say something like 1crystal for a regen or 5b gold for regen or 1inferno for regen etc .... of course this would only be in war but u could use multiple resourse to just all out finger frenzy attack survival of the fastest strongest that would be crazy fun..that everyone could enjoy all out Blitz and 1more thing get rid of wait time for wars WAR waits for no one
Yes i belive recognition is another part of this game collecting heads osw ir swar u should have a clan page where u collect heads/other clans banners some one would offer u there banner as a surrender

i think mith and mage should be sold and bought also like pots. so if we sell mith or mage a percentage is refunded.
Disallowing people to easily pin will mess up wars even further Instead of wars being few and tactically and tactically charged they will be many and nooby How do you propose to fight wars then just constantly hit and regenerate for hours at a time?
