I think everything is great except the strategy part, that kinda take some fun away esp the DTW thing you shouldn't have to wait till 50% troops to hit some one, and ffp is a good strategy lol I think they should keep that the way it is, and quest shouldn't be locked because of ffp lol
I think taking away the DTW thing is gonna make people angry. Dedicated players that fight from the pin to win wars are gonna need a new strategy.
:idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: On a related note to improve wars: Clan spy actions would be fun ... builds could contribute spies into a 'clan pool' to enable a super spy actions like: scout (sneak a peek at 'current opens'), steal (raid the treasury for big plunder :lol: ), or mass espionage (poison the koolaid and inflict massive damage :twisted: )
People who play this game for war should be rewarded better than eb players , I think thats the intention here . But the bonuses leaving in a week is not a good idea . It protects the leader board which areplayers that spend all the money .NOT TRUE . OSW clans spend money on crystals as well . These weekly war tournaments will play out quickly . There's always gonna be your " War " players and " eb " players there's no way around it . Only way I could see this benefiting me is having a way to track these weekly war stats . That way you can see if a player is an eb noob or a fighter . That way the " eb warriors " would be forced to war lol after all this is Kingdoms at WAR . ГДSТ Я!бЧТS
It would be good if we can have war and epic battle at the same time. That way members who don't want to participate in war can still do epic battles at the same clan.
I disagree Michael jackson. The devs are not allowing you to pin on quests so why would they allow you to use your troops on ebs?
Interesting devs, like some things in the OP but the others, lets just I would quit before spending money on xtals for a update that pretty much makes you buy xtals to win is a no no! You can expect a email in your inbox tonight devs
I hope they vary days of the week... Or let a clan choose what day they want to do... The weekend wars have been unavailable to ppl who don't have Saturday's free.
What I want to see : 1. DTW is okay under 20% but only get 20% plunder as well, compare to them fighting with 100 % troops will get 100% plunder. This will encourage people to stay high troops to get more plunder. 2. Bring up scoring system, for ex: win a war you will get 50 prestige point, lose a war you will lose 25 prestige point, the higher prestige point your clan has, the higher eb % bonus plunder you will get. After a year the final round will be played between top 16 clan using elimination system. 3. Weekly bonus for winning clan, top plunder of the week, top attacker of the week, top assasinater of the week, top stealer of the week, top scouter of the week, top defender of the week, etc.
@shredder page 10 There is no bonus Xstal deal in the Oracle, they just reworded it, they're still the same price. Only difference is instead of 6 Xstals, it's now 5 Xstals plus 1 bonus, the 32 is 20 plus 12 and the 168 is 100 plus 68. I have no idea why they did this, all packages are still the same price for me.
I like that Estoc's Edge will punish clans for mercing too heavily and it rewards clan loyalty. Switch up to the start times so that it will be fair for people living on the opposite hemisphere as Vancouver. Cut out the outside hits option too. If not, you could just use outside alts/clanmates to pin the other side. How about you reward the aggressor for making the "kill?" Since the victim will lose plunder it would make sense to add that plunder to the winner. It would add more strategy since you don't want to expend your troops too much (rendering you an easy "kill") and you don't want to wait too much (someone can come in for the "kill" and steal your victim).
I would just say instead of eliminating fighting from pin , just restrict or limit it's use. It can be put into effect similar to mithril, lets call it "shield wall" and lasts an hour, but can only be used for say 6 hours of 24 hour war and not in b2b hours. Under 20% cannot attack or be attacked, troops or spies above 20% you're open to hits steals etc. This is similar to your ideas but would keep the 5 min regen pace/action for a few hours. For rest of war new fight mechanics would be in place. Other quick comment is 50% regen after pin may be too high/long of a wait. So say a player gets pinned in first 20 mins of war, and opposing clan gets regen time correct: Wait 30 mins, 1-2 minutes action, pin, 30 min regen, repeat. Might be a lot of waiting. Idk maybe a 25-30% regen time would be better. Just thinking out loud. If you use the shield wall idea I want 5% of all future xtal sales.
I agree that there should not be any changes in ability to hit someone. This is war. Plus give cash out as an ultimate purse for winners plus mithril. No plunder til end, in order to avoid p wars.
I think it is about time we had a war update havnt had a good reason to war outside of summer wars in ages
I want to see spies get better rewards for spy actions such as assassins or scout bombs ... they are a large part of war yet plunder is 0 .... And mirth is minimal if any ...
Clarification please: Does "Troops" == Soldiers only? or Does "Troops" == Spies AND Soldiers ALSO, if "Any strategies you use should be interactions between yourself and other players in the war." THEN... please explain That’s why, every time a player reaches 0 troops, they’ll lose a percentage of their accumulated plunder in the war. To clarify, this effect would occur whenever an external player causes a player to reach 0%. This includes: Clan Members, Opposing Clan Members and Outside of War players. Surely an "External Player" is outside the war... thanks
