Why pay 50 b to enable somebody to do 1/6th of an admin's current normal job ? It does not make sense. People wanted co-owner status, clan walls, clan bank.
Answer is simple. Community asked for changes so as we demanded clan structure changes in forums. DEVS Know we want them so charge us for it. Clever business tbh. This is also a clever way to dump excess gold. I don't really care about the prices I make fair gold on my own, as a clan we don't think it will affect us dramatically The small clans will struggle tho. Clan bank is unfortunate. As for owners we could pass owner over when we sleep. No big deal there. Not sure about clan wall that could be just a pain in the rear. Imagine one person causing complaints and every admin seeing that, that could be more hassle than its worth.
This will hurt small and medium clans, which are necessary to grow new Kaw players. In reply to yr comment on Kaw deflation technique: it wont work coz big accts can make this easily in 1 week. Again its the smaller players and clans who will suffer. Not a smart move in respects to game perennity.
I'm sure the devs will listen to good reason to lower the cost applicable to size. if it causes more workload for ownership status I can see ppl boycotting this game
Couldn't the Cost of these positions be based on the strength of the whole clan? So say a clan has 5-20mcs players it'll cost considerably less than a clan with 40-60mcs and so forth? As the lesser clans will make less in Gold from EB's or pretty much just in general. If that makes sense? It sure it does. Why the hell am I talking to myself?
@ mush because huge clans would use small alts to pay for opening the admin spots then transfer big accounts over.
It's really funny when people become so greedy they don't realize it's gold expressed in numbers in a tap tap game. They talk like they'll starve to death if this update will be implemented. Pretending to care about other smaller clans yet they hoard lots of silver bars which they earn in a promo by hitting osf.
No date just yet, but we're targeting in the next week or two. As soon as we get the last few things done we'll be submitting the update to Apple / Google. As we get closer to the date we'll be letting you know of the exact timeline for transition to this new Clan Role system.
KAW, please consider changing the clan structure, at the very least, please make Captains and Knights to be able to accept join request and start epic battles. And consider lifting the limit of how many of these positions we can have. We need our adminstration to be able to do both these functions, and will make it easier to keep up with as admins leave to war or whatever and return not having so many different positions. Please look at my suggestion on page 78 (I believe) though, as this would be a better set up of clan structure imo. I agree again with Michaelbrs, I and Im sure other clan owners would be happy to talk in detail of what we see as clan owners to help in this process!
Ok so clearly not reconsidering after 82 pages with concerns. So to ask a question regarding new silences. Those given by moderators and kaw go on a players record. Do the clan silences go on a players record as well? My advice is a definite no btw as far too easily abused. Though I agree with moose and his opinion bad clans will commit kawicide if they abuse the feature to much. And if a clan owner silences a member should it not apply to wc as well to give owners a way to stop people they may be stuck with for the duration of a war spamming wc as well as clan chat. An extra deterrent for abuse.
The Mute feature only mutes a player in Clan Chat. The use of this feature is up to a Clan, but yes it should be used with moderation. It will not count on any sort of player record.
See that's where your clan is obviously different than mine.... my admins have offered to help foot the bill so to speak. I haven't asked anyone to help cover the costs for the positions. A well ran clan will help each other without having to be asked. As they know it's for the good of the clan.
